MERCY ACADEMY SUNDAY MATCHES

All matches scheduled for Mercy Academy have been moved to LIRC for the remainder of the day.

RAIN PLANS (SUNDAY)

*The first consolation matches of the day in the 12-18's divisions will be played at Springhurst. The following divisions play at the following times:

9AM: Boys 16s, Boys 12s
945AM: Girls 16s, Boys 18s
1030AM: Girls 14s, Boys 14s
1115AM: Girls 18s, Girls 12s

*All other matches will remain outdoors at their originally scheduled location. Times might have changed so please review the draw carefully.

COVID INDOOR PLAY RULES

1. Masks must be worn by spectators at all times.

2. Players are limited to 1 spectator per player.

3. Spectators should social distance at least 6 feet from any non-household member.

DRAW FORMATS

Because of the limit in courts, the following match formats will be used for the entirety of the tournament:

MAIN DRAW (12-18's): Best 2 out of 3 Sets with 10-point tiebreaker for 3rd set
BACKDRAW (12-18's): Best 2 out of 3 Short Sets to 4 with 10-point tiebreaker for 3rd set (Set tiebreaker at 4-4)
DOUBLES (12-18's): 8-game pro set NO-AD SCORING

MAIN DRAW (10U): Best 2 out of 3 Short Sets to 4 with 10-point tiebreaker for 3rd set (Set tiebreaker at 4-4)
BACKDRAW (10U): Best 2 out of 3 Short Sets to 4 with 10-point tiebreaker for 3rd set (Set tiebreaker at 4-4)
DOUBLES (10U): 6-game pro set AD-SCORING

* DATES/SITES: This year's tournament is scheduled for September 11-13 in Louisville.

* REGISTRATION DEADLINE: The registration deadline for the event this year will be MIDNIGHT on Friday, September 4th. THERE WILL BE NO LATE REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

* DOUBLES DETAILS: The junior competition committee voted in 2017 to allow players to play singles in one age division and doubles in a different age division. Players must register for their respective doubles division by the registration deadline of September 4th and must declare their doubles partner online by 5pm on Monday, September 7th. We highly encourage parents/players to find their own doubles partners.

* SEEDS/SCHEDULES: All seeds will be published by 5pm on Tuesday, September 8th. All first match times for singles/doubles and complete draws will be published by 5pm on Wednesday, September 9th. All singles draws will be Feed-In Consolation through the Quarterfinals and matches will be Best 2 out of 3 sets with a 10-point tiebreaker in place of the 3rd set. All singles draws will be limited to 32 players split into two 16-player draws. All doubles draws will be Single Elimination and 8-game pro-sets, no-ad scoring played.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
