GTC is aware of the potential weather issues and the tournament will run as planned. Please plan on arriving for your scheduled match time, I will communicate to players if any changes are made

SCORING FORMAT
• 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s Main Draw Singles - Regular Scoring. Best of 3 sets with 3rd set played as a 10 point matchbreaker.
• 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s Consolation Singles - Regular Scoring Pro Set. Set Tiebreaker at 8-8.
• 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s Main Draw Doubles - Regular Scoring Pro Set. Set Tiebreaker at 8-8.

Driving Directions
Allow 15 minutes to drive from Galbraith Tennis Center to University of Puget Sound.

Communication Strategy
1. Talk to the site tournament desk staff
2. If they don't know the answer the tournament desk staff can email Katie O'Riley at koriley@pnw.usta.com. Email is the best way to get a hold of Katie O'Riley. The second best way to contact Katie is by calling Galbraith Tennis Center at (253) 533-1145 and asking for Katie. If she can't pick up the phone she will get back to you as soon as she can.

Warm Up Policy
The warm-up time shall be 5 minutes

Lateness Policy
(If one player or team is late)
1. 5 minutes or less: Loss of toss plus 1 game
2. 5:01-10 minutes: Loss of toss plus 2 games
3. 10:01-15 minutes: Loss of toss plus 3 games
4. More than 15 minutes: Default

Officials
There will be roving officials for this event. If an official is needed it is the responsibility of the player(s) to get an official. If an official is not available please notify the tournament desk and they will notify an official to help as soon as they can. Parents and spectators can't request officials to go on court.

1. Curtis High School - 8425 40th St W, University Place (4 courts)
2. Whittier Park - 921 Contra Costa Ave (3 courts)
3. Regents Park (South of Fircrest Community Center - 555 Contra Costa Ave) - (3 courts)
3.Vassault Park - 6100 N 37th St (2 courts)

Galbraith Tennis Center will be open at 7 AM for anyone who would like to warm up and is first come, first serve. If you need another time, there are various indoor facilities that you might be able to book a court time at (at your own cost). Unfortunately, there will be no warm up at UPS.

Player Selection Type
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry Type
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, Wednesday, January 08, 2020 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.

If you win your first round main draw match due to a default or withdraw then this counts as a match win and you will not be eligible for the consolation draw if you lose your next match.
