Virtual Tournament Desk Registration **MANDATORY FOR ALL PLAYERS** by 7 AM Saturday Oct 24
In response to the COVID-19, we will be using Match Tennis App’s Virtual Tournament Desk technology to help facilitate CDC best practices.
In order to compete in this event, all competitors MUST click the below link to fill out the check-in form, and sign the waiver for this tournament. Players will only be allowed in the building as their matches are being called through Match Tennis App.
Players are only permitted two guests (player plus two) during their match. Our facility has online match streaming available at playsight.com. There is NO charge for this service.

Covid/ Mask policy/ waiver (Inside Event)
Parents: Help us keep everyone safe and fight the spread of COVID. Spectators are limited to (2) spectators per family. Guests are required to wear a mask or facial covering inside. Players must wear a mask to and from the court but may remove for play inside the tennis court area. All participants and spectators will be required to sign an assumption of risk statement before entering the facility. Players and families are asked to not hang out in the lobby before and after play. please arrive in time for your match and leave promptly after.

Matches are live streamed on Playsight.com
We are excited to broadcast all tournament matches live and free of charge to your family, friends, and coaches. To watch go to playsight.com and search for Grand Rapids Racquet and Fitness. Parents must sign a waiver for your child to compete. Individual court cameras will not be turned. Players without a signed waiver will be defaulted under "parental choice provision" Players who want copies of recorded matches can make the request from the tournament director. There is a small extra fee for this service. It is highly recommended that players and parents download the free playsight ap online. * (Coming soon! GRRF is excited to announce that we will soon be adding live on-line match scoring to all of our events.

Starting Times/ Draws
Starting times will be available Thursday morning with draws posted Friday afternoon.

Tournament Awards
Awards will be given to the champion and finalist of each division. A consolation champion and finalist award may also be given depending upon the size of the event.

All play begins Saturday. Players must be prepared to play as
many as three matches per day. 12-18's divisions are standard two
of three sets with a tiebreaker for the third. Some 18's boys will
not begin until Sunday. The 10's green ball event is 2 of 3 short
sets with 10 point tiebreaker. A full best of three sets will be
used for the final.
There are no refunds for withdrawals once player selections have
been made on Tuesday,
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, October 19, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
