Draws were posted at 10:30 am on February 27th. Please check the time and the site of your first match and report DIRECTLY to that site 30 minutes before each match. Do not come to the Pavilion unless that is where your match is to be played.

LOCATION (DIRECTIONS)
We will be playing matches at two sites (10 courts total.) PAV Pavilion: 400 Scottswood Road Taylors, SC 29687 Bspgs Butler Springs: 301 Butler Springs Rd, Greenville, SC 29615 Players are to report DIRECTLY to the assigned site for their matches. Do NOT report to the Pavilion unless that is where your match is being played. You may stop by the Pavilion anytime during the weekend to get your shirt. Please report to your site 30 minutes before each match.

NUMBER OF DIVISIONS
EACH PLAYER MAY REGISTER FOR ONLY 2 DIVISIONS: singles and one doubles division or two doubles divisions (boys' or girls' and mixed.)

TOURNAMENT QUESTIONS
ALL TOURNAMENT QUESTIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE MUST BE DIRECTED TO THE REFEREE, LINDA SANDUSKY AT THE EMAIL ADDRESS ABOVE. THE DIRECTOR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESPOND TO CALLS OR EMAILS.

FRIDAY STARTING TIME
Matches will be scheduled beginning at 5:00 on Friday. If you have a 5:00 match, please report 30 minutes prior to that time and go directly to the site listed on the draw. You may stop by the Pavilion anytime during the weekend to pick up your shirt.

REFUNDS FOR WITHDRAWALS
No refunds will be made for withdrawals after the deadline on Monday, February 24th at 11:59 pm.

Medical Release Waiver
USTA and the Greenville Rec District require a medical release waiver must be signed before the players first match. Please download the waiver and bring to the tournament. The Greenville Rec waiver will be available at the check in desk and both must be signed before a player may play his/her first match.

WITHDRAWALS
ALL withdrawals after the deadline must be emailed to the tournament referee, Linda Sandusky.

CHECK IN
Please check into ALL matches 30 minutes before the scheduled time. This will keep the tournament running on time. Also, you MUST report directly to the site listed on the draw. Do NOT report to the Pavilion for your first match unless that is where you are to play. You may stop by and pick up your shirt anytime during the weekend.

DOUBLES SIGN-UP
Doubles will be played throughout the weekend. Some may be played on Friday evening as well as Saturday and Sunday. Obtain your doubles partner's USTA# and sign up online before entries close. You may signup without a partner and we will randomly pair you with another player seeking a partner if one is available.

LATE ENTRIES AND AVOIDANCE REQUESTS
No late entries will be accepted after the deadline and we will also not accept avoidance requests after the deadline.

MIXED DOUBLES
We will be playing mixed doubles in age divisions 12-18. Mixed doubles will be played on Sunday following completion of all other matches. Please sign up with a partner so you will need his/her USTA number. WE WILL NOT BE PAIRING PLAYERS WITH OTHER PLAYERS FOR MIXED DOUBLES SO YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE YOUR OWN PARTNER.

No further avoidance requests will be accepted.

SC L4 PLAYER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Any player currently ranked in the SC standings in the top 10 in the 12's-16's age divisions must play up in the next age division.

LEVELS 1-4 (STA 4-STA 5)--SEEDING CRITERIA
The most current USTA Southern Standing List will be used for seeding purposes.

WARM UP
Match warm ups will be limited to 5 minutes. WARM UP COURTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THE TOURNAMENT SITES ONCE MATCHES BEGIN. Warm ups MAY BE done prior to the first matches each day at the tournament sites.

AMENITIES
All entries will receive a $10 gift card for The Yard House Restaurant on Woodruff Road in Greenville. Fruit and snacks will be available throughout the weekend for the players. EACH PLAYER WHO REGISTERS ONLINE WILL RECEIVE A TOURNAMENT T-SHIRT. Awards will be given to Champions and Finalist of the singles main draws, to Champion of the consolation draw and Champions of the doubles.

DRAW FORMAT
Except for round robin formats, all singles draws will have a MODIFIED FEED-IN CONSOLATION. In the case of only two entrants in a division, it will be single elimination. All players should report their scores, win or lose, at the tournament desk at the location of their match. Do not assume that you are finished with the tournament when you lose. ALWAYS double check the draws on line for your match times and locations. Doubles will be Single Elimination.

10 and UNDER YOUTH PROGRESSION ELIGIBILITY
Please be aware that this tournament has two 10 and Under Youth Progression divisions: ORANGE BALL DIVISION AND GREEN BALL DIVISION. This means that in order to play in a 10 & Under division, you must be eligible for the corresponding level. BOYS' AND GIRLS' 10's ORANGE BALL DIVISIONS
Boys' and Girls' 10's orange ball divisions will be played on a 60' court using a low compression orange ball. Racquet size is limited to 25" or smaller. Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format as follows: 2 out of 3 short sets using NO AD scoring, first to 4 and win by 2 games. 7 point tiebreak for 3rd set (first to 7 points wins the match, win by 2.) NO COACHING ALLOWED BETWEEN 2nd AND 3rd SETS. Doubles will be a 6 game set with a set tiebreak (first to 7, win by 2) at 6-6. Players must be able to serve out of the air.

BOYS' AND GIRLS' 10's GREEN BALL DIVISIONS
Boys' and Girls' 10's green ball divisions will be played on a 78' court using a low compression green ball. Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format is as follows: 2 out of 3 short sets using NO AD SCORING, first to 4 and win by 2 games, 7 point tiebreak for 3rd set (first to 7 points, win by 2.) NO COACHING ALLOWED BETWEEN 2nd AND 3rd SETS. Doubles will be a 6 game pro set, with a set tiebreak (first to 7, win by two) at 6-6. Players must be able to serve out of the air.

MATCH SCORING FORMAT 12'S-18'S DIVISIONS
Singles main draw and consolation draw will play best 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. A 7 point set tiebreak will be played when the set score is 6-6. AD SCORING WILL BE USED IN ALL 12's-18's DIVISIONS. If you split sets you are entitled to a 3 minute set break and on-court coaching is allowed. If you leave the court you will forfeit your time to receive coaching. All doubles will play an 8 game pro set, NO AD SCORING, with a 7 point tiebreak played at 8-8.

Please be aware that this tournament is a 10U Youth Tennis
Progression event. This means that in order to play in the 10U division offered
you must be in the corresponding level. If you are not able to register for 10U

Tournament/Match Check In BRING YOUR MEDICAL FORM TO CHECK-IN Please check-in for the tournament 30 min. early. 2020 USTA Southern Youth Progression Update Please note that
starting January 2020 USTA Southern’s Youth Progression has changed from
offering 2 levels of Orange ball to only one level of Orange ball - Orange
Level 1. Players will now start at Orange Level 1 and progress to Green Level 1
then to Mission Complete/Yellow Ball. Youth Progression point distribution has
