Events - Alternates by Event

All Singles matches have been updated on USTA site starting again at 2:30pm. Suspended matches on court will be completed first.

Raining again at MPRD with all on court matches suspended. Next update at 1:30pm for start not before 2:00pm. Match times online are being updated.

We had rain here as well. We will update the all matches for this site again at 12:00 for a possible start at 1:00pm. We are hoping this will get out and courts will dry quickly.

Due to rain you are being moved

The hard courts at CHARLESTON TENNIS CENTER AND PORTER GAUD are not drying. We are moving the matches that were scheduled at these two sites are going to be moved to KIAWAH ISLAND located at 2 Sanctuary Beach Dr, Kiawah Island, 29455. We will play doubles starting at 11:30 for the Girls 12s and Girls 14s. Singles will not start until 12:30. Please do not arrive to the site before 12:00 to warm up because all of the courts are full until then. We will be heading that way to set up the site and change the match times on the website. If you were a 9:00am singles match at these two sites you will be scheduled to play at 12:30.

Players may play in BOTH MIXED DOUBLES AND REGULAR DOUBLES. Mixed Doubles will play all matches on Friday starting at 3:30pm. If a player plays in both Mixed and regular doubles they will play Mixed on Friday and regular doubles starting on Saturday. If you are only playing regular doubles you may play on Friday as early as 5:00pm.

You must play in the same age group in REGULAR DOUBLES AS IN SINGLES. Mixed Doubles can be be any age group

The players will be ordered using current standings. The 32 players will be split as follows:
Red: 1,4,5, 8,9,12,13,16,17,20,21,24,25,28,29,32
White: 2,3, 6,7,10,11,14,15,18,19,22,23,26,27,30,31

Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines: (1) Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. They will be removed from the other age division. (2) Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternate's lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alt list. They will be removed from the alternates of the other division. (3) Players selected to one age division will be removed from the alternates list of the other division. (4) Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

An Alternates By Event Report will be generated each day and published to the website. All players listed on the alternates list may elect to play another tournament, however, they MUST send an email to the tournament director to withdraw from this event first. Until Thursday at midnight if there are withdrawals, we will place the next person on the Alternates By Event Report into the draw in the order listed without notifying the alternate placed into the draw. It is your responsibility to check the draw to see that you were placed into the draw. For any withdrawals after Thursday at midnight, we will contact the next person on the Alternates By Event Report and give them one hour to respond back to our email and or phone call. At that time we will go to the next person on the Alternates By Event list. Please ensure that we have your correct email address or phone number.

Anyone wishing to be an On-Site Alternate must check in at the appropriate match site 30 minutes prior to the first match time for the appropriate age division and ensure they are listed as an On-Site Alternate with the Site Referee. Further instructions will be given to On-Site Alternates at that time.

There will be no refunds after the entry deadline. No exceptions.
