FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES TO ENSURE YOU'LL RECEIVE COURT ASSIGNMENTS VIA TEXT
* When setting up your Match Tennis App account, all family members should sign in with the same username and password. * Make sure you add three DIFFERENT contact numbers during the Pre Tournament Virtual Check-In THAT WILL BE ON during the tournament. They all should be cell numbers since messages will be in the form of texts. When you are called to court, all your contact phones will receive the message. * If you need to add or change contact numbers go to “My Account” in Match Tennis App and click “Completed Waivers” to add or change contact numbers.

Facility Policies & Procedures
All players must use the Match App for play. Please check in from your car until you receive your message from Match App that your court is ready. After you finish, please submit your scores so we know the court is open. You must leave the facility right after you play.
Please bring everything you need with you. This includes but not limited to: Court towels, chair, umbrella, sunscreen, cooler, ice, sports drinks, snacks, etc. We do not have ice or water available.
You MUST maintain a 6 foot distance from everyone at all times. Please change on the opposite side as your opponent.

Warm Up Courts : Kiawah/Seabrook
Players may go directly to the site before the first match of the day to warm up , which is 8:00am. Hard courts may be available in the afternoon at RBTC and will be used on a first come first serve basis. Additional public courts are located on Johns Island located at 3501 Dunmovin Dr., 29455. There are 6 public courts there and is appoximately 20 minutes away from Kiawah.

We will be using two sites in CHARLESTON for the 10's, 12's The sites are The Charleston Tennis Center and Porter Gaud School.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
As you make your way to the Charleston area, please keep these items in mind. These guidelines are in place in the area due to Covid.
1 Please wear a mask when on site. The players will take their masks off when they get to court. If you need to get an Official both player must put there masks back on while they are communicating with the Official on court. If the player needs to take a bathroom break they must put their mask on to travel to and from the toilet.
2 The rules of Southern are no water or ice will be provided at the sites. This is for the health and safety of the players.
3 please bring a chair and umbrella to help insure proper social distancing. We can not guarantee The safety of any seating that is on site.
4 All matches will be called through the Match Tennis App. Starting Thursday we will be sending updates through MTA. If you do not sign up by noon on 10/15 you will miss out on this information. Make sure the cell number you sign up with will be with the player. On match day, You will receive a text to the phone number you signed up with on the app. Please tap on the link to confirm you are heading to court. At the end of the match, the last text you received has a link to report your score. Then proceed to the tournament desk to drop off the balls and confirm scores.
5 The matches are about the kids playing the best match they can. Everyone is excited to be back playing tournaments. Please understand that off court behavior in a negative manner will be address immediately.

DOUBLES REGISTRATION ID#700042620 OPENS OCTOBER 9 AND CLOSES OCTOBER 11
Registration for doubles begins on Friday October 9 after the close of singles registration . Doubles play will begin Friday, October 16 at 5pm. Doubles matches will continue Saturday with the finals being played Sunday morning. Every player that signs up for doubles must be available to play 5pm matches on Friday. Doubles format will be an 6-game set (with ad) with single elimination for Boys and Girls 12's-18s. Boys and Girls 10's will play an 6 game set (no-ad). All players who register for singles and doubles must play doubles in the same age group as singles.

We will have a stringer available Friday afternoon through Sunday at the Roy Barth Tennis Center. The charge for labor is $20 per racquet.

SELECTION PROCESS
Because this is a Level 3 STA Event the following process will be used: Top 32 players applying from the USTA/Southern latest standing will be selected. The names of the player who have been selected will appear as competitors. Alternates are listed in the report section. Do not refer to the alternates on the far left side of the web page after competitors have been listed. (That list is not updated). Players are allowed to enter tow divisions with these guidelines: #1 Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. They are removed from the other age division. #2 Players not selected to either divisions would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated top play the division they first get in from the alternates list. They would be removed from the alternate list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates' list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

Registering for Two Age Divisions
Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines: (1) Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. Entry Violations
Entering two tournaments at the same time is a violation of the USTA rules in the USTA Southern Section, and players may be assessed five (5) junior suspension points for violation of this rule. In "Friend at Court," USTA Tournament Regulation 1 N. 11 & 12 states: 11. "A player shall not enter two tournaments at the same time. When entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments, if any part of the tournaments are scheduled to overlap unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation and concurs in writing." 12. "A player shall not enter a tournament intending to withdraw if the player’s entry is accepted in another tournament. A player shall not enter a tournament with the intention of withdrawing if the player’s entry is accepted in another tournament, unless the Tournament Committee for the tournament in which the player has entered understands the situation and concurs with the contemplated action." If a player on the Alternate list wants to enter a different tournament, he/she must withdraw from this tournament before entering another one.

10 & Under Youth Progression Eligibility Please be aware this tournament has two 10 & Under Youth Progression divisions. ORANGE BALL DIVISION AND GREEN BALL DIVISION. This means that in order to play in a 10 & Under division, you must be eligible for that corresponding level. Tournament/Match Check In BRING YOUR MEDICAL FORM TO CHECK-IN Please check-in for the tournament 30 min. early. Tournament check-in will be available beginning Friday at 3:30 p.m. Please check into your site of play. If you are not scheduled to play Friday, the check-in is not mandatory, only check in at least 30 min. prior to your first match.

Boys and Girls 10's Green Ball Divisions Boy's and Girl's 10's GREEN BALL divisions will be played on a 78' court using low compression green ball. Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format as follows: 2 out of 3 short sets using NO AD scoring, first to 4 games (win by 2). A 7 point tiebreak is played if players reach 4 all. If players split sets then a 7 point tiebreak is played for the 3rd set (win by 2). THERE IS NO COACHING BETWEEN THE 2nd AND 3rd SET BREAK IN THE 10 & UNDER DIVISIONS. Doubles will be a 6 game pro set using NO AD scoring
