Thank you to all the players, parents, and coaches who participated in this year's tournament.
You may notice multiple matches listed as abandoned due to play suspended Sunday afternoon because of rain.

All players must initially check in for arrival registration at LTP at the Daniel Island Tennis Center at least one half hour PRIOR to their first scheduled match. First matches will begin at 5:00 pm on Friday for doubles and 8:00 am on Saturday morning for singles. Early check-in is encouraged and will be available on Friday, February 14th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. If you do not arrive on Friday before 7:00 pm, you MUST complete registration check-in at LTP at the Daniel Island Tennis Center on Saturday morning at least one half hour prior to your first match. After initial registration check-in, all players should report directly to designated sites for scheduled matches. MANDATORY RELEASE forms for USTA and LTP at the Daniel Island Tennis Center must be signed by each player's parent/guardian prior to playing in first match.

BG12-18s Singles:
All Singles draws will play the best two out of three tie-break sets with a Match tie break in lieu of the third set, with a Full Feed in Consolation through the Quarterfinals and 3/4 playoff. The Finals of the Consolation Draw will not be scheduled and will not be played.

BG12-18s Doubles
6 game set / Ad scoring / 7 point tiebreak played at 6 games all
REMEMBER YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THE SAME AGE DIVISION AS YOU ARE PLAYING IN SINGLES.

BG10s Singles:
Boys and Girls 10s will play on the regular 78' court, using Green Ball. The required scoring format for 10s singles matches shall be the best of two short sets with NO AD scoring (first to four (4) games and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set. THERE IS NO COACHING BETWEEN THE 2nd AND 3rd SET BREAK IN THE 10 & UNDER DIVISIONS.

BG10s Doubles
6 game set / NO Ad scoring / 7 point tiebreak played at 6 games all

Be sure to bring along a cup or a refillable water bottle for water refills available courtside as we promote onsite sustainability at our facility.

Withdrawal Before Entries Close on Sunday, February 9: Go to the Tournament website under "EDIT REGISTRATION" on the right side of your screen and click "Withdraw". If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate Confirmation" just below "Withdraw." We cannot withdraw you, you must do this yourself. You will lose the entry fee if you do not withdraw online before registration closes.

Withdrawal After Entry Deadline: Immediately contact the Tournament Referee to withdraw from the tournament by emailing megphotogirl@aol.com. In the email subject line include WITHDRAWAL, your name, and division. DO NOT call to withdraw. If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. There are no refunds after entries close. All withdrawals for reasons other than illness, injury, and personal circumstances or withdrawals for any reason without the proper written notification are actually defaults and Code of Conduct Reports will be completed for each defaulting player even though an alternate may take that defaulting player’s place in the draw.

Withdrawing During the Tournament: You must see the trainer and get approval from the Head Referee in person. If not, it will count as a "No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE! If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament OR a visit with the onsite trainer will suffice.

Per Southern, if a player is only selected to play doubles, the player will be assessed a fee of half the Singles entry fee. Entry fee for Singles is $70.38 divided by 2 = $35.19 to be paid for Doubles fee [instead of the $13 fee paid for Doubles as a second event].

Seeding shall be done by USTA Southern using the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which players appear on the list. Players selected on their 10s standing shall not be considered for seeding in the 12s division. Thirty-two (32) players will be selected for each event and then be split into two Draws of 16 players using the Waterfall System for selection. If a draw has 23 players or less, then a single 32-draw will be played with feed-in through the quarterfinals. Seeding will be made prior to the players being split.

Please be aware that this tournament is a 10U Youth Tennis Progression event. This means that in order to play in the 10U division offered you must be in the corresponding level. Boys and Girls 10's Green Ball Divisions
Boy's and Girl's 10's GREEN BALL divisions will be played on a 78' court using low compression green ball. Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format as follows: 2 out of 3 short sets using NO AD scoring, first to 4 games (win by 2). A 7 point tiebreak is played if players reach 4 all. If players split sets then a 7 point tiebreak is played for the 3rd set (win by 2). THERE IS NO COACHING BETWEEN THE 2nd AND 3rd SET BREAK IN THE 10 & UNDER DIVISIONS. Doubles will be a 6 game pro set using NO AD scoring

2020 USTA Southern Youth Progression Update
Please note that starting January 2020 USTA Southern’s Youth Progression has changed from offering 2 levels of Orange ball to only one level of Orange ball - Orange Level 1. Players will now start at Orange Level 1 and progress to Green Level 1 then to Mission Complete/Yellow Ball. Youth Progression point distribution has also changed.
