the draw shows a match time of 9AM, the match is now scheduled for

Doubles
If you are currently entered in singles and would like to play doubles, please email Jane at bcptennis@aol.com to tell her what age division and who your partner is going to be (they must also already be in the tournament). I will need an email from both partners. If you would like to play but do not have a partner, please let me know and I will place with another looking for a partner.
All doubles partners need to be in by 10pm Tuesday night

Welcome!
This is an intermediate-level tournament sanctioned by USTA
Georgia as a Level 4 (Southern Level 5 points). Registration must be completed
online. T-shirts to all participants.
Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under division will play on a full court with yellow balls. Boys and Girls 10 and under
that are eligible
for green balls in Youth Progression will play on a full court with
green dot balls. Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for orange balls or new to Youth Progression will
play on a 60’ court with orange balls.
USTA Georgia tournaments do not offer Orange Level 2
divisions. All players that register for Orange 2 will be automatically moved
to Orange 1 before the draws are posted.
Player selection
This tournament is open for junior players regardless of
ranking. You will receive an automated email if your player is selected and
your credit card is charged.
Late Entrants Late entry policy stated below.
Draws
Draws will be published by Thursday at 5 pm. It is your
responsibility to check this tournament web page for the player draws, match
times and any other updates.
Format
FIC through
Quarterfinals. 3rd and 4th place playoffs. Some consolations may not finish. Limit
16 draw.
Scoring format:
BG 12-18 : 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 pt match Tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set (main
& consolation) . Scoring format for BG10s will be 2 out of 3 short sets
(sets to 4 games) with a 7-point match tie-break for the 3rd set (both Main and
Consolation draws).
Withdrawals and

Before the
deadline, withdraw through TennisLink. After the deadline, email the tournament
director.
No refunds for
withdrawals after the tournament deadline.

Southern Orange Ball 10 & Under Changes
Please note that starting January 2020 USTA Southern’s Youth Progression has changed from offering 2 levels of Orange ball to only one level of Orange ball - Orange Level 1. Players will now start at Orange Level 1 and progress to Green Level 1 then to Mission Complete/Yellow Ball. Youth Progression point distribution has also changed. See here for more info:

•REFUNDS: There are no refunds after the entry deadline. If you do not play a match you will recieve a $25 credit to a 2020 Buford City Park tournament. If you only play one match, then you will get a $15 credit. To receive the above credit register for the future tournament, before the deadline, via email instead of tennis link.
•WITHDRAWALS: Before the entry deadline, withdraw on-line. After the deadline, withdraw via e-mail.

BUFORD CITY PARK IS LOCATED AT 2700 SAWNEE AVE., BUFORD, GA 30518 FROM THE NORTH: Take I-985 south to exit 8 (Friendship Road). Turn right onto Friendship Rd. Turn Left onto Buford Hwy (SR 23). When Buford Hwy goes from 2 lanes to 4 lanes, get into right lane and turn right onto Sawnee Ave. The park is on the right, just past Buford High School. FROM THE WEST: Take SR-20 east to Sugar Hill. Turn left onto Peachtree Industrial Rd. Turn right onto South Waterworks. As soon as you cross the railroad tracks get into the left turn lane. Turn left onto Sawnee Ave. The park is on the left, just past the baseball fields. FROM THE SOUTH: Take I-85 north. Exit onto I-985 north. Take exit 4 (Buford) and turn left onto SR-20. Turn right onto South Lee St. Turn Right onto Buford Hwy (SR23). Turn left on Robert Bell Pkwy. Street deadends into Sawnee Ave. Left on Sawnee, right into park.

LATE ENTRANTS - USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments, Levels 4-5, in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries
