FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES TO ENSURE YOU'LL RECEIVE COURT ASSIGNMENTS VIA TEXT
When setting up your Match Tennis App account, all family members should sign in with the same username and password.
Make sure you add three DIFFERENT contact numbers during the Pre Tournament Virtual Check-In THAT WILL BE ON during the tournament. They all should be cell numbers since messages will be in the form of texts. When you are called to court, all your contact phones will receive the message.
* If you need to add or change contact numbers go to “My Account” in Match Tennis App and click “Completed Waivers” to add or change contact numbers.

Facility Safety Protocols
FACILITY PROTOCOLS- Here are some facility/tournament Covid-19 protocols: 1) If you have been sick or felt sick in the past 2 weeks, we ask that you get clearance from a doctor or refrain from playing the tournament(You will not be penalized for withdrawing). 2) 2 cans of balls will be used for each match. 3) There will be no need to check in at the tournament desk. You will be sent to your court via the Match APP(see below to download) and your match will be called on the loud speaker. Balls will already be on your assigned court. 4)You will be responsible for bringing your own water and ice. The ice machine will not be available and there will not be water on the courts. There will be water, gatorade, snacks, etc available for purchase in the pro shop at Ridgeland Tennis Center. 5)We ask that players arrive at the facility no more than 15 minutes before their match and leave no more than 15 minutes after their match is completed. More importantly we ask that you follow the recommended guidelines for social distancing when interacting with other players and parents(where a mask or stay 6 feet apart) 6)All players please remember to grab ALL of their personal items off the court before leaving. 7)No handshakes after matches! A racket tap at the net has been the adopted norm. 8)There will be chairs, benches and common seating areas at RTC, but we encourage you to bring your own chairs. 9)There will be hand sanitizer on each court, but bring any cleaning/sanitary items that you feel are necessary.

Practice Courts/Pre-Match Warm-Ups
FRIDAY-RTC will have practice courts available for players on Friday evening. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY-RTC and PB will be first come first serve from 6:30 a.m. until matches begin. *There are 2 practice courts located at 414 Annandale Parkway in Madison, MS 39110 that are available on a first come first serve basis once matches have begun. If you need additional options contact Justyn at 843-422-4450. Pre Match Warm Ups- Contact Reunion Teaching Professional Andres Yepez at 786-599-7411 to schedule a hitting session.

NEW DATE FOR 2020
This year's tournament will take place from Sept 12-13! With no doubles being played, first matches for singles will begin Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m and the tournament will finish on Sunday, Sept 13th.

FORMAT
THE FORMAT FOR THIS TOURNAMENT IS 2-16 PLAYER DRAWS WITH A FEED IN THROUGH THE QUARTERS. THERE WILL BE PLAYOFFS FOR 3RD AND 4TH. ALL MATCHES WILL BE 2 OUT OF 3 SETS WITH A 10 POINT TIE BREAK IN LIEU OF THE 3RD SET.

10 AND UNDER SCORING
10s divisions(Green) will play 2 short sets(First to 4 games with a 7 point tie breaker at 4 all) and a 7 point tie breaker in lieu of the 3rd set.

This is a Level 3 MS tournament and a Level 3 Southern tournament.

SIGNING UP FOR TWO DIVISIONS
Player are allowed to enter 2 divisions with these guidelines: Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. Players not selected to either division remain on the alternate list for both divisions, but are obligated to play in the division in which they get in.

SELECTION PROCESS
USTA Southern will provide selection list. Players will be selected directly from the USTA Southern Standing List in the age division in which they apply. Players will no longer be considered for selection based on their lower age division standings.

USTA SOUTHERN SEEDING CRITERIA
Seeding will be provided by Southern with the selection list.

ALTERNATES
The alternate list is made at the time of selection according to the Southern Standing List at that time. Once the alternate list has been posted, this is the order that is used for the tournament. The alternate list is updated as soon as someone withdraws. It is alternates responsibility to see if the alternate list has changed. Make sure your contact information is correct on your membership profile. Once an alternate is selected to play, payment is due immediately..

WITHDRAWALS
If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online. Click on Edit Registration, then Withdraw. You will get a confirmation number - Keep This Number ! All withdrawals after entries close must be sent in writing by email To justynschelver@hotmail.com No telephone withdrawals are accepted.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. Please consult your Section or District rules and regulations for entry requirements for this tournament. If you enter this tournament and are not eligible, any refund is as the discretion of the Tournament Director. Only USTA members can register online if available.
