TOURNAMENT FORMAT
This tournament will be played as a 32 draw not a two 16 waterfall draws. There will be no play Friday March 6 Finals will be played Monday March 9 Selection process will be made by Southern according to current Southern standings Seeding will be done according to the same standings This format is the way level 3 tournaments used to be played and we agreed to try again as a pilot for tournaments moving forward.
FORMAT AND SCORINGBG12-18s Singles: All Singles draws will play the best two out of three tie-break sets with a Match tie break in lieu of the third set, with a Full Feed in Consolation through the Quarterfinals and 3/4 playoff. Referee reserves the right to change this format due to weather or any unforeseen delay of play.
BG12-18s Doubles 6 game set / Ad scoring / 7 point tiebreak played at 6 games all REMEMBER YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THE SAME AGE DIVISION AS YOU ARE PLAYING IN SINGLES.
BG10s Singles: Boys and Girls 10s will play on the regular 78' court, using Green Ball. The required scoring format for 10s singles matches shall be the best of two short sets with NO AD scoring (first to four (4) games and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third set. THERE IS NO COACHING BETWEEN THE 2nd AND 3rd SET BREAK IN THE 10 & UNDER DIVISIONS. Referee reserves the right to change this format due to weather or any unforeseen delay of play.

SELECTION PROCESS
USTA Southern will provide selection list. Players will be
selected directly from the USTA Southern Standing list in the age division in
which they apply. Players will no longer be considered for selection based on
their lower age division standings.

The 10U division Boys and Girls 10's will play on the 78 foot

29" racquet. The required scoring format for 10's singles matches,
shall be the best of two short sets - No Ad

ENTERING TWO DIVISIONS
Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines: #1. Players selected to both divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. #2. Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternates’ lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alternates list. They would be removed from the alternate list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

WITHDRAW BEFORE ENTRIES CLOSE
If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online with your confirmation number you get when you registered for the tournament. Click on edit registration, and then withdraw. You will get a confirmation number- KEEP THIS NUMBER! Without the confirmation number, you will not have proof of your withdrawal.

TOURNAMENT CHECK IN
All participants check in at least 30 minutes prior all matches we must have your medical release form that you can email prior to the tournament or present at your site when checking in.

WE STILL NEED YOU TO COME BY WILD DUNES AT SOME POINT TO PICK UP YOUR TOURNAMENT TSHIRT IF YOU DID NOT GET IT FROM YOUR SITE REFEREE

WITHDRAW AFTER ENTRIES CLOSE
If you need to withdraw from the tournament please email your request to carlos.lozano@destinationhotels.com This email must have a request to be withdrawn, reason why, players name, USTA #, and contact information. No phone calls please, we need written proof of your withdrawal. Thank you. Players withdrawing after Monday March 2 ,2020 at 5:00 PM will not be refunded the entry fee.

PLAYING TWO TOURNAMENTS
DO NOT ENTER TWO TOURNAMENTS AT THE SAME TIME. How to avoid penalties: If you end up in the alternates list, you must withdraw from the alternate list first and then enter the 2nd event. Tournaments have different deadlines that will allow you time to make your changes.

SEEDING
Seeding shall follow the USTA Southern Section seeding
regulations and will be provided by Southern with the selection list.
|
ALTERNATES
It is the alternate's responsibility to check the website to see if your alternate status has changed. The tournament will contact you if you are selected to play in the tournament. You should make sure your contact information is correct on your membership profile and also when you register to the tournament. The tournament will not be responsible for a player not selected in the event the tournament cannot contact him/her due to incorrect or outdated contact information. Once an alternate is selected for play, payment is due immediately. Alternate report will be updated daily! On Site-Alternates must inform the Referee in person they are on-site. On-Site Alternates will be selected in the order of the Alternates List. On Site-Alternates should be on-site when their division checks in for play.

CONSOLATION
Consolation will be played according to the STA L3 format of a 32 draw with feed in consolation. The scoring format will be best of two sets with a 3rd set match tie-break in lieu of the 3rd set.

MATCH CHECK IN
Lateness will not be tolerated DEFAULTS WILL BE ENFORCED 15min AFTER YOUR SCHEDULED MATCH TIME UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN REST TIME BECAUSE OF YOUR PREVIOUS MATCH.

STRINGING
Wild Dunes will offer stringing service during the tournament with quick turn-around time. We have some in stock and we will string your racquet if you bring your own string. Please see Pro Shop for details. Other tournament sites DO NOT have stringing service.

10 & Under Youth Progression Eligibility Please be aware this tournament has two 10 & Under Youth Progression divisions. ORANGE BALL DIVISION AND GREEN BALL DIVISION. This means that in order to play in a 10 & Under division, you must be eligible for that corresponding level. Tournament check-in will be available beginning Friday at 3:30 p.m. Please check into your site of play. Boys and Girls 10's Green Ball Divisions Boy's and Girl's 10's GREEN BALL divisions will be played on a 78' court using low compression green ball. Draw format will be determined by the number of participants. Scoring format as follows: 2 out of 3 short sets using NO AD scoring, first to 4 games (win by 2). A 7 point tiebreak is played if players reach 4 all. If players split sets then a 7 point tiebreak is played for the 3rd set (win by 2). THERE IS NO COACHING BETWEEN THE 2nd AND 3rd SET BREAK IN THE 10 & UNDER DIVISIONS. Doubles will be a 6 game pro set using NO AD scoring

2020 USTA Southern Youth Progression Update Please note that
starting January 2020 USTA Southern’s Youth Progression has changed from
offering 2 levels of Orange ball to only one level of Orange ball - Orange
Level 1. Players will now start at Orange Level 1 and progress to Green Level 1
then to Mission Complete/Yellow Ball. Youth Progression point distribution has
