Seeding & Selection for this Tournament
Team selection will be based on the USTA Florida Tentative Ranking List published in Tennis Link on September 19th. This tournament will use the UTR doubles rating of both players combined to seed the teams in each age division. The UTR rating is updated daily so the seeds will be based on the UTR posted Thursday. September 26th. USTA Florida is using UTR as a tool to seed the Level 3, 4, & 5 tournaments. This was started with the Level 3 Bobby Curtis in June 2018. The findings so far are anywhere from 88 to 91% accurate a seeded player will be in the final rounds of the tournament. We are still evaluating the UTR results. Follow the link for more information on UTR.
