Posting Draws
I have been called to Jury Duty. because of this I will not be able to post the draws until Thursday afternoon.

ONE WEEKEND EVENT
THIS EVENT WILL BE PLAYED OVER ONE WEEKEND + MONDAY & TUESDAY AFTER 5 PM.

MATCH FORMAT
ALL MATCHES WILL BE A "BEST OF TWO SETS" A 10 POINT TIE BREAKER WILL BE PLAYED IN LIEU OF A THRID SET.

ELIGIBILITY RULES 2020 LEVEL 5 EVENTS
For ages 12-18's players who
are ranked in the top 50 will not be allowed to participate in Open Level 5
events. These events are meant for players moving up from Level 6 but not
quite ready for higher level events. (Players can play up in the next higher division if ranked in the top 50 of their age group) This does not apply to 10 & under divisions.

Seeding method
We will use the latest UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) for seeding. (10 & under will use the SCTA Rankings)

Recording of your Tennis Match!!!
All matches played at Lakewood & El Dorado Park Tennis Centers will be recorded in HD.
The recordings will be available for purchase by
tournament competitors at a moderate cost. ($25.00) This is a great service which
can be used as a developmental tool to move your game ahead or simply
as a historical archive of your matches. Check in at the Pro Shop (or Video table) to
find out how to order yours.

10 & Under Divisions
All 10 & Under matches will be played with the “Green” Ball (or Green Dot Ball) on a standard sized 78’ court. There is no racquet restriction with this ball.

2019 SCTA POINTS PER ROUND RANKING
For Southern California open ranking purposes, this tournament is a SCTA Level 5 event. For 2020 tournaments, Level 5 points will be awarded based on draw size for each individual event.

Dress Code
The Lakewood Tournament and all officials of this event
would like to inform the players of our expectations of proper attire while
competing in this tournament.
GIRLS: No sports bras or compression shorts are to be worn alone; midriff must
be covered when arms are at rest, and spandex shorts must be covered by
additional shorts or skirt.
BOYS: No cut off t-shirts, or cut off shorts. Sleeveless tennis shirts may be
worn. No reference to drugs, violence, alcohol, or foul language may be
depicted on player attire.

For Southern California ranking, this is a Level 5 event. If you
have a time conflict, you must let the director know before draws
are made. Refunds only given to players who withdraw at least seven
days prior to tournament start date. Probable sites include
Lakewood Tennis Center & El Dorado Park.
No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, January 28, 2020 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
