8AM COURT ASSIGNMENTS FOR SATURDAY AUGUST 15th PLEASE READ BELOW!!
Please note the following court assignments for 8AM matches only!!Players should go directly to their court to start at 8AM. There will be four (4) balls per court ( 2 with a dot and 2 without a dot) each player will get two balls each. Please do not use your hands...please to move balls back and forth please use your racquet or feet. For the 10 and under....each player will get their own can for use during the tournament. The cans will be on the courts for their 8AM matches with their names on them and distinguished markings on their balls to differentiate from their fellow players. AGAIN YOU CAN ONLY HAVE ONE GUEST PER PLAYER and you cannot linger and watch other matches. When your match is complete you gather your individual balls and bring to the tournament desk, report your score, get your next match time and return to your car and leave the site until 10 before your next match. Protocol and Procedures for this weekend PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW!!
Hi Everyone!! We are all so excited to be back to USTA Tournaments after 5 months of craziness!! We hope you all are doing well and have been safe and healthy!!! This is the sixth weekend that the USTA has allowed us to be back on the court so we wanted to share with you some protocols that will be in place for the weekend. Obviously we would rather be back to the old ways of doing things but our PRIORITY is the safety and healthy of all our players, their parents, coaches, guests and the USTA Tournament Staff. PARKING AND GATE ENTRY AT INDIAN SPRING COUNTRY CLUB: 1. Please note that there is parking on the east side courts. At the entrance go to the right side gate which will rise when you get close to it.2. Make a left after entering 3. Make another left to the lot parallel to the street behind stadium. DO NOT PARK IN MEMBER PARKING OR YOU WILL BE TOWED4. There is more parking on the west side on both sides of the west courts5. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON GRASS OR IN MEMBER PARKING OR YOU WILL BE TOWED!! TOURNAMENT DESK AND MATCH ASSIGNMENTS: 1. The Tournament Desk will be located OUTSIDE UNDER THE AWNING by Stadium Court on the EAST SIDE. Please note the Tournament Desk number is (305) 588 0564. Please arrive no longer than 10 minutes before your match and come ready to play. There will be NO warm up courts on site!!2. We will text or call you when your court is ready. You must remain in your car until your match is called. Then proceed to the tournament desk (WITH A MASK) and get your balls and proceed to your court. Each player will get two (2) balls and proceed to the court. You must wear a mask as you walk to your court. Upon arrival at the court you may remove your mask.3. You are only allowed ONE GUEST!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!! ALSO NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLUB!!! Your guests must wear a mask and not congregate with others. They should bring their own seating to avoid any congregating.4. At the completion of your match, BOTH PLAYERS must return to the tournament desk with your balls (and wearing masks) and report your scores to the desk and get your match next match times.5. THEN YOU MUST RETURN TO YOUR CAR and leave the site and return 10 minutes prior to your next match time. Please note there are no exceptions for these guidelines. At the completion of the matches, the players should give each other a verbal cue (ie: thumbs up, good match, racquet tap, etc.) rather than a hand shake. Both players should gather their individual balls and bring to the tournament desk, report the score, leaving the balls in the blue big bucket at the tournament desk. The player moving into the consolation round will give their balls to the Tournament Desk to be placed in a can for their consolation match. They will be given their next match time and will have to leave the tournament area and club with their guests. Please note, only players who have been given a court assignment will be allowed in the court area due to restrictions by the CDC, USTA Florida and Smile Revolution Productions, A1A Tennis, Indian Spring Country Club and City of Boynton Beach, we can have no gathering. BATHROOMS: We do have bathrooms on site. You can enter one at a time. The bathrooms will be monitored and sanitized hourly. THERE IS NO CLUB HOUSE GATHERING. You may use the bathroom and leave. The back lounge area will be used for the USTA officials break area. NO PLAYERS OR GUEST CAN UTILIZE THIS SPACE. There are also bathrooms on the west side as well.The USTA has provided the following guidelines which we will follow and respect. We ask that all of our players and their guests do as well.1. Please wear a mask when speaking to others and walking through facilities and spectating if near others while always practicing social distancing. Players must wear a mask except during play. Please wear a mask when approaching the Tournament Desk.2. Use headbands, hats, towels or wristbands to avoid touching faces during play.3. Bring your own hand sanitizer to the club to use before and after matches4. Arrive at the club close to your assigned starting time, ready to play and depart immediately following match for rest break. You will get a phone call or text when your court is ready5. We are NOT allowed to provide any food, drinks, snacks, ice, etc. so please plan accordingly. We suggest you bring a small cooler with ice for your personal use.6. Please bring your own water, isotonic drinks, towel, or any other personal equipment including your hand sanitizer and mask and keep them IN your tennis bag when not in use. When at the tournament desk, please wear your mask. There is a Publix near by so you can swing by there for any supplies needed.7. Spectators and guests should bring their own chairs....please remember your are limited to two (2) guests per player.9. Scoring devices also are prohibited so please bring paper and a pen to write scores down in between games and the server should loudly say the score before serving to avoid any misunderstandings. 10. Maintain safe social distance between players and the ref during the racquet spin or coin toss at the start of the match.11. Maintain physical distancing when changing ends of the court.12. Limit spectators to ONE (1) per player13. NO PETS will be allowed in the tournament and court area. Please leave your furry bffs at home.While we are so happy to return to tournament play, obviously we do not normally run our events in this manner but in order to provide every safety protocol and guideline we must adhere to these restrictions and ask that all of our players and their guests do as well. Again, everyone's health and safety are our #1 focus and concern.RECOMMENDED ITEMS TO HAVE WITH YOU:
* Masks (required when not on court)
* Hand sanitizer and/or antibacterial wipes
* Drinks (water and isotonic drinks as needed) (The Pro Shop will have drinks to sell if you need to purchase)
* Snacks (banana, granola whatever your player and parents should need) There will be nothing provided at the club due to USTA guidelines and restrictions
* Paper and pen or small notebook to keep scores clear during matches
* Headbands, hats, towels, and wristbands
* YOUR OWN ICE, we cannot provide ice to the players so please bring your own cooler with ice in it as it is expected to be warm this weekend. PLEASE PLAN TO BRING YOUR OWN SMALL COOLER OF ICE FOR YOUR USE ONLY.If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me (via text message is the quickest way) and again, we look forward to a great weekend of getting back to tennis!! Parking at Site!
Please note that all matches will be played on the east side courts. To park you must go through the GUEST gate (it will open automatically) and park BEHIND the stadium (just south of the stadium). Do NOT park in member parking as you will be towed at your expense!! There is parking on the west side do not park on the grass or in member parking!!

Practice Courts and Tournament Procedures
Due to Covid 19 restrictions there are no courts on site for warm up. You should come ready to play and arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled match. Please stay in your car until the tournament desk calls or texts you to come to the tournament desk for balls and court assignements. We will send one match at a time so please be patient. You MUST STAY IN YOUR CAR UNTIL CALLED TO THE DESK. For 8AM Saturday matches, we will send court assignments this evening and you should report directly to your courts at 8AM. Each player will have two balls on the court (two with red dots and two without). At the conclusion of your match, BOTH PLAYERS should gather their own balls and return to the tournament desk to report scores and get their next match times. PLAYERS ARE ONLY ALLOWED ONE (1) GUEST!! and NO PETS ALLOWED AT THIS CLUB) At the conclusion of your match you must report your score and return to your car. Matches after 8AM matches will be called or texted to the cell number entered on your entry when your court is ready. These players should then report to the desk to get their balls and head to the court assigned.

Entry Fees, Refunds and Withdrawals
Please note that there are NO refunds after the computer entry deadline. If you must withdraw from the tournament after the computer entry deadline please email the Tournament Director at jaimestennis@aol.com. Thank you for your understanding of this policy!! Please note if tournament is cancelled due to inclement weather, players will receive a credit for a future event hosted by A1A Tennis!

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, August 12, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
