COVID Related Policies - PLEASE READ!!!
COVID Related Policies - PLEASE READ!!! Out of an abundance of caution, the following policies are effective for tournaments at Lake Cane during the Covid situation for the safety of our players and staff, and in order to minimize our impact on the Orange County Park 1) Orange County currently has a facemask ordinance. Players do not need to wear them during play but should have them with. Non-players should be wearing them on property unless you are seated in an area that you can comfortably social distance. 2) Players, Please show up no more than 10 minutes prior to each match 3) Bring your own seating for players and parents. Bleachers are closed at this time. We are encouraging each player to bring a portable chair to the courts with them so they can avoid having to use shared benches. 4) No hand shaking, racquet tapping, or foot tapping before or after matches. Please show your opponent your respect by giving them a wave from across the court and congratulating them on a good match, win or lose. Please maintain proper social distancing during side changes. 5) We will have hand sanitizer on-site but please have players keep their own hand sanitizer with them in case the need arises. 6) Parents – please don’t gather in groups near the tournament desk or courts, and make sure the kids do the same. 7) Bring your own watter bottles and ice. Our watter fountains and Ice machine are all shut down at this time. 8) Please maintain proper social distancing at all times We understand many of these rules may feel invasive and are somewhat exclusionary toward parents or families that are used to spectating and attending tournaments, but our goal is to provide the safest possible environment we can for everyone involved while still allowing the kids to have some fun and enjoy themselves on court. Thank you for understanding and follow these rules, and we welcome you back to USTA tournaments at Lake Cane!!
