COVID#19 PROTOCOLS AT THIS SITE
The Details: THIS TOURNAMENT STARTS ON SATURDAY July 25, 2020 Delcastle Tennis Ctr., Wilmington, Delaware The
round of 64 (8:00am start) and the round of 32 (11:30am) and the
consolation round 4:00pm) will be scheduled and played on Saturday July
25th , check the draw for your scheduled match time
Draws will be posted Monday after 1:00pm
• There are NO doubles or 3/4 playoffs with this tournament • NO WARMUP COURTS -10 minute warmup for each match.
• NO INDOOR BACKUP - Indoor backup is not required for this event.

ALL singles matches are played with a 10 point match tiebreak in lieu
of the 3rd set – both main draw and consolation draw. All matches are
regular scoring. • Draw format for this tournament is a FRLC - First Round Losers consolation - one round of consolation only • Please follow CONVID#19 Protocols of this site (see below)

Guidelines to follow related to Match Play at this site:
Point Penalty System will be employed to player/chaperone not following guidelines below: One player, one chaperone on site non-players on site MUST check in with Tournament Director for CONVID#19 tracking
Player body temperature will be checked (must be below 100.4) What you will need and to do at this event:
* Bring your own water supply for match
* Please re-frame from using ice machines or refrigerators, Ice only for injuries
* Wear mask to and from courts (not necessary on court, while match is in progress)
* Hand sanitizer is required in your bag (use before and after match on court)
* We wish to get you on court and off court quickly (no practice courts)
* If score keepers are used, they will be disinfected after every match by umpires
* Spin for winners choice prior to warm-up
* 1st server will place their "stuff" on side of court with scorekeeper and update scorekeepers for entire match only one person
* the
other player will place their "stuff" on opposite side of court ACROSS
from opponent , not next to them, so when changing ends they approach
end changes on their side of court
* Report to tournament desk ready to play
* you will be sent straight to court, keep your social distance at all times
* make yourself ready at car before checking in at tournament We suggest bring these needed items-
including your own portable sanitizing bottle, water supply , racquet, towel, head covering to court, folding chair with wide foot base
Sanitize hands and racquet handle before and after match in front of umpire Sanitize on court before a match, sanitize on court after your match Both players report to ball hopper check point, for next match times waiting at ball hopper mark Return balls, hoppers near court yard area DO NOT LEAVE BALLS ON COURT FOR OTHERS TO TOUCH OR CLEAR
Please use the following as a guide for self-screening and best practices :

Water will not be made available, ice is only for injuries and obtained
by staff, please refrain from using ice machines or site refrigerator ? Athletes, spectators, and coaches will be responsible for bringing their own water bottles ? Water bottles should be clearly labeled and not be shared between individuals. ? All players, coaches, staff, and spectators should practice social distancing of
six feet, but not limited to: On the sidelines ,In common areas, When entering and leaving the facility ?
All spectators on the sidelines must sit or stand at least six feet
apart from one another, unless you are part of a “Group Bubble”. ?
Players and coaches must refrain from handshakes, high fives,
fist/elbow bumps, chest bumps, or any group celebrations. This includes
post-game handshakes ? To decrease the number of people at the facility, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE a maximum of one parent/ Chaperone ? In
the event of a lightning delay, athletes, spectators, and coaches will
be asked to seek shelter in their cars and not in any buildings at the
venue. This is to avoid overcrowding in the venue and allow people to
maintain safe distancing ?
Whenever possible, restrooms will limit occupancy to one person at a
time. Access to indoor facilities may not be available depending on the
venue. Face Coverings mandatory ? All staff will have face coverings. ?
All attendees including staff, players, coaches, spectators, and
officials must have a face covering with them. All attendees will be
responsible for bringing their own face covering. ? Coaching staff and other adult personnel should wear face coverings at all times unless doing so jeopardizes their health. ? Face coverings must be worn when in communal settings and when in close proximity to others. ? CHECKLIST FOR PLAYERS
Arrive at the facility close to assigned start time, ready to play, and depart immediately. Bring your own water bottles, towel, hand sanitizer and any other personal equipment and store them in tennis bag. Bring your own chair and avoid sharing a bench with an opponent and/or teammate. Use headbands, hats, towels or wristbands to avoid touching your face during play. Wash/Sanitize hands often (before / after matches). Clearly verbalize score at the start of each point and use technology to report scores (email or text). Maintain safe physical distance between players during the racquet spin at the start of a match. Maintain physical distancing if changing ends of the court. Offer an acknowledgment of tapping racquets together instead of shaking players’ hands.
