There is NO need to get an umpire. Juniors receive a mandatory 3-minute rest period after the second set when a match-tiebreak is played in lieu of the third set. Coaching is permitted, but the player must stay on the court. After the 3-minute rest period, no further coaching is allowed. If needed, a bathroom break can be taken after the 3-minute rest period. If a player takes a bathroom break during the 3-minute rest period, the player waives the right to further coaching. No coaching is allowed during the bathroom break...REMEMBER::There is NO need to get an umpire

Play will begin Friday at 5:00pm. Via e-mail with "Friday Play" in the subject line, you may request a later start time, but no later than 6:00pm. This request must be done by 6:00pm Tuesday, September 15..

SELECTION PROCESS:::: Beginning February 1, 2017, the singles and doubles results for each player earned in a division for the previous 12-month period shall be counted as results in the next-older division at 20%. As such, younger players playing "up" will no longer be considered for selection based on their lower age division standings..Southern Standings will be used for selection. The MATCH APP will be used for your medical waiver. This must be completed before you play..
The MATCH APP will not be used for reporting your score.

1. Tournament desk will be located outside. (if not windy)
2. Match balls will be given to the players in the can. After the match, the balls will be returned in the can. Players will retrieve loose balls.
3. Players will bring water and ice.
4. There will be no doubles or player gifts..
5. The building will only be open for the bathrooms
6. Players will bring hand sanitizer.
7. No handshake after the match.

10. Finally, practice safe distancing at all times.
11. If you do not feel comfortable playing tennis- DO NOT PLAY.
12. If you are sick with any symptoms at ALL, DO NOT ATTEND OR PLAY A MATCH!
Ultimately, however, it is up to each player and/or parent to decide whether to participate in any event. Further, every player is expected to take all reasonable precautions to protect themselves from the risk of exposure.

Per 2015 GTA regulations, late entries can be accepted at the tournament's discretion as long as the posted seeding is not affected. There will be an additional $10 fee. .

Hudlow Tennis Center (A second site may be used.) is located off the Jimmy Carter Blvd. exit of I-85 and is about 1.4 miles west of the interstate in Best Friend Park (on the left), not on Best Friend Road!!. REFUNDS:
There are no refunds after the entry deadline. If there are weather issues and no matches are played, then you will get a 3/4 credit to another tournament offered by the above-named organization. Otherwise, there are no refunds.
WITHDRAWALS:
Before the entry deadline, withdraw on-line.
After the deadline, withdraw via e-mail.

Trophies will not be awarded to a player who does not win a match.

No attire with a political inference or meaning will be allowed.

LATE ENTRANTS - USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments, Levels 4-5, in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries
