Good morning, we are in a weather delay. We will not start before 9 AM. We will post another update at 8 AM. So everyone can add 1 hour to their start time. I will not adjust the start times on the draws until 8 AM.

*The courts at Lagoon Park will be open for practice until 5 PM on Friday. If you want to use the courts later than that please call 334-240-4051 and let us know. If the phone is not answered immediately leave a message.
*There will be a professional stringer at Lagoon Park pro shop all tournament long.

The girl's 16 draw will be remade due to the #1 seed WD and other players WD dropping our total to 16 players. Times may change, please check the draw at Noon. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes. I originally posted early so people could make hotel and travel plans because of all the byes.

The draws were posted early to help people with travel and hotel logistics. Because of Covid we are having numerous withdrawals. Please keep checking the homepage and the draws. There have already been changes. It is particularly important because we have several 32 draws with a lot of byes. Also, please note the G16's draw is one more withdrawal away from a complete redraw!!

PLEASE READ:1. Make sure you read the tournament homepage. Especially the part about the Match Tennis App and Virtual Tournament Desk. You must do your tournament check in through this app. This is where you will complete your waiver, communicate the cell phone number(s) used to receive court assignments, add your hotel information, etc.
Make sure you get very familiar with this app, it will be used for at least Southern tournaments, and probably National, in the future.
If you are having trouble with the app, their customer service is very quick to answer. If you are still having trouble, email lagoonparktennis@gmail.com and we will assist you.
If there are any weather delays we will use this homepage as the Main Update Center and the Match Tennis App also.

-Masks are required for entry into the 2 facilities, Lagoon Park and O'Connor Tennis Center.
-We also request you adhere to social distancing inside or out.
-The bathrooms are available but we request that you do not hang out in either lobby.
-To avoid large groups use your car to get out of any bad weather and wait for an update on the homepage and/or the Match Tennis App.
-We will not be supplying any water or ice at this time. You must bring your own.

Doubles has been cancelled at all USTA tournaments. We will have more Covid tournament and facility guidelines up by Wednesday, December 2.

* When setting up your Match Tennis App account, all family members should sign in with the same username and password.
* Make sure you add three DIFFERENT contact numbers during the Pre Tournament Virtual Check-In THAT WILL BE ON during the tournament. They all should be cell numbers since messages will be in the form of texts. When you are called to court, all your contact phones will receive the message.
* If you need to add or change contact numbers go to “My Account” in Match Tennis App and click “Completed Waivers” to add or change contact numbers.

Top 32 players to be selected based on Appropriate Standings. We will play 2 draws of 16 for each event and we will be waterfall based in Standings used. Tournament HQ - UA Tennis Facility

Youth Progression for 10 and under Events: All Players ages 10 and under must play thru the new Youth Progression System. Starting with 2017 Tournaments players will only be allowed to enter tournaments at their approved level or one level below. No playing up will be allowed. In general players will find the progression from Orange 2(entry Level, will count as a level 5) to Orange 1(intermediate Level will count as a level 4) the quickest, then from Orange 1 to Green Level 10's(Advanced will count as at least a level 3) slightly more difficult, then from Green Level 10's to Yellow Ball play in 12's more difficult. Once a player ages up to 11 they will be eligible for Yellow Ball Play automatically. We hope the New Progression Pathway will help all players find their natural pathway.
