This tournament will use a combination of USTA/Midwest Points Per Round and Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) for player selection and seeding. Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order:
1 - 44 Players based on the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings List in the age division of the tournament
2 - 20 Players based on UTR
Players will be seeded for the tournament in the following order:
1 - All seeds done by UTR

This tournament carries with it Level 1 USTA/Midwest points per round and Level 3 USTA National points per round. For more information on USTA/Midwest points per round, please visit the following link: more info

Feed-in consolation draw (through the Round of 16). Quarter-final losers will be fed into a separate consolation draw to playoff for 5th and 6th place. Semi-final losers will playoff for 3rd and 4th place. Main draw and 3/4 Playoff is best of three tie-break sets. Feed-In matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set. 64 FIC-R16

PLAY SITE - We will be using the indoor courts at XS Tennis and Education Foundation located at 5336 S State St Chicago, IL 60609


PRACTICE COURT INFO - Practice courts will be available Friday evening, 7pm-10pm, as well as throughout the morning of each day of the tournament. Friday's courts will be $36/hour while Saturday and Sunday will be $10/half-hour per person with 4 players to a court if necessary. SATURDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 1 round of consolation singles. SUNDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 3 rounds of consolation singles. MONDAY - 2 rounds of main draw and 2 rounds of consolation singles.

The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.
