Mixed Schedule Time Changes / Great Day 2!
It was so good to see everyone again! We hope you felt safe and enjoyed being able to return to tournament play. Great job handling the heat today! Please note that some of the mixed times have changed due to players being in the finals/semis of two events. All match times have been updated in the draws. Check your times now and tomorrow before heading to the courts. We will have open courts throughout the day, Just let the desk know if you would like to get an earlier start on your match. Please do not 'jump on' a court. The desk will let you know your court number. If you need to withdraw for any reason, please let me know via text or email 254-717-8789/mcferranc@aol.com.

Tournament & Facility Safety Information
General Information Enter through the main doors
and exit through the double doors straight ahead. Masks are required in the
building. Continue past the Stadium
court to the back side of the pavilion. Restrooms are located in the front of
the pavilion. Most matches will take place on courts 5-18. Do not ‘jump on’ any court. Plan to arrive 10
minutes before your scheduled match time and depart immediately after your
match. 8:00am matches may check in as early as 7:00am but you must stay on your
assigned match court. If you want to beat the heat and start your match before
8:00am, let the desk know. If any 10:30
matches want to start early, we will have courts available beginning at 9:45.
Check in via text to 254-717-8789. Both partners
must be on site to check in. Provide the last names of both players and your
event. You will be directed to a court
or asked to come to the desk area. Checking
in means that you are ready to play. Remember
to check in and be on your court at your scheduled match time to avoid lateness
penalties. You must check in prior to each match. We recommend that you do not
use the benches but instead use that as your 6ft guide. The tournament desk will be located behind
caution tape under the trees next to our courts. You may come to the desk with
questions or to get an official. Please respect the 6 ft distancing for the
desk marked by the caution tape.
Report scores immediately after the match via text
to the same number. Make sure both teams agree on the score. Include your court number, the winner’s name
and the winner’s score. Leave the balls and we will sanitize the benches and
pick up used balls before sending more players to the court. Your next match time will show on the
app. Questions are welcome! If you don’t
text or have internet access, you may report your score at the tournament desk
and we will gladly give you your next match time.
Bring your own ice, water bottles, towels, snacks,
etc. Bringing your own chair is a good idea for spectators and players. There
is a no-touch water dispenser beside the restrooms. Emergency ice for injuries
only will be located at the tournament desk.
It will not be sanitary for consumption. Drinks and snacks may be purchased in the main
building. The pro shop will be open. 6ft
distancing and masks are required indoors. Stay hydrated!
Court usage will be tracked. If you test positive for Covid-19 up to 3 days
after the tournament, please let us know.
We will contact your opponents and the players that used the court after
you. Your name will not be
mentioned. The message will read ‘We
want to inform you that you may have come in contact with someone who has developed
Covid-19 within 3 days after playing in the Texas Tennis Museum & Hall of
Fame Adult Doubles Major Zone’.
