PLAYER INFORMATION & RESPONSIBILITIES (READ ALL INFORMATION)
PLAYER INFORMATION 1. Complete the Pre-Tournament Check-in (Waiver) by 9:00 PM Wednesday
evening...if you do not complete the waiver by this time you may not be
able to play in the tournament. 2. Bring your own ice and water (a water fountain is available at the pavillion on the lower level). 3. Have a mask in your bag...you will need to wear it when going to the restroom. 4. Scoring devices will be available...only one player should keep the score throughout the match. Whoever loses the toss should keep the score. 5. We will be using two sites: Roswell Area Park Tennis Center (RAP) and East Roswell Park Tennis Center (ERP). 6. Keep socially distant at all times.
DAY OF MATCH PROCEDURES - TAKE YOUR TEMPERATURE BEFORE COMING TO THE TOURNAMENT - DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE SICK! 1. All players must check-in 30 minutes before your match through the Match Tennis App. DO NOT GATHER OUTSIDE THE FACILITY...WAIT UNTIL YOUR MATCH IS CALLED AND THEN HEAD DIRECTLY TO YOUR ASSIGNED COURT. 2. When you receive your court assignment, click the BLUE LINK to confirm and head immediately to your court. 3. At the end of the match BEFORE LEAVING THE COURT both players must enter the score in Match Tennis App. 4. Please gather your trash and take with you when you leave the court and facility. We will be sanitizing and prepping courts for the next matches. 5. Draws will be available online and not on site. We will keep them updated throughout the day. 6. WEATHER DELAYS: head straight to your car and report your score in progress via Match Tennis App (D=Delay), and wait for a message via Match Tennis App with tournament update. DO NOT GATHER OUTSIDE THE FACILITY. 7. Only one parent/guardian per player will be allowed on the premises. 8. Parents/Spectators should bring your own chairs to watch matches and should wear masks if not socially distant.

USTA RETURN TO PLAY GUIDELINES
- If you do not feel comfortable playing tennis- DO NOT PLAY. Only play if you are comfortable playing. Each person is responsible for his or her own safety during these unknown challenging times. BE SAFE.
- If you are sick with any symptoms at ALL, DO NOT ATTEND OR PLAY A MATCH!
- Players to temporarily refrain from handshakes after the conclusion of matches. In substitution of this, we suggest a light racket tap instead
- People should stay at least six feet apart to maintain social distancing
- We ask only 1 parent/family member per player
- Parents, please bring a chair and spread out as spectators.
- Fill your water up before you come – bring 2 jugs, it will be hot. Tennis Center will be CLOSED to the PUBLIC but we do have bathrooms available if necessary at the bottom of the stairs under the pavilion.
Social distancing: - Arrive at the venue dressed for your match shortly before your allotted start time and depart the venue immediately after the match. Do not use the locker rooms or showers - Players should maintain at least 6 feet between each other and officials - Do not shake hands with players/opponents or have any other physical/close contact before, during or after a match - Balls should be touched as little as possible; use your racket or foot instead - At changeovers, go around opposite sides of the net - Do not share any equipment or other items (racket, water bottles, food) with teammates or opponents - Exit the facility as soon as your match is completed and scores reported - Follow any other facility guidelines or recommendations
Observe good hygiene: - Avoid touching surfaces where possible - Wash/sanitize your hands regularly, including before and after bathroom use, and after touching surfaces - Use hand sanitizer after the completion of the match - Cough into a tissue and discard it immediately - Don’t touch your face - Bring personal hand sanitizer and wipes to the tournament - Sanitize your grip; wipe and disinfect your racquet after play - Do not place personal items on public surfaces. Ex. Towels should be placed on your bag not on the court, fence or net post
-Summer Smash T-shirts will not be offered this tournament to prevent contamination and sanitation measures will be increased.

Welcome!
This is an intermediate-level tournament sanctioned by USTA
Georgia as a Level 4 (Southern Level 5 points). Registration must be completed
online.
Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under division will play on a full court with yellow balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under
that are eligible
for green balls in Youth Progression will play on a full court with
green dot balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for orange balls or
new to Youth
Progression will play on a 60’ court
with orange balls.
Player selection
This tournament is open for junior players regardless of
ranking. You will receive an automated email if your player is selected and
your credit card is charged.
Late Entry - Full policy stated below. A $10 fee may be charged for a late entry.
Draws
Draws will be published by Thursday at 5 pm. It is your
responsibility to check this tournament web page for the player draws, match
times and any other updates.
Format
Limit 32 draw.
FMLC. 3rd and 4th place playoffs. Some consolations may
not finish. Match times and tournament information can be accessed online at
least 48 hours before the first scheduled match. Awards to winner, finalist and
consolation winner and finalist.
All boys/girls
12's matches will be two sets with a match tie-break (10 point tie-break) in
lieu of a third set. All 10's matches will be two short sets (sets to 4 games).
If sets reach 3-3 you must win by two games, example: 5-3. If sets reach 4-4 a
set tie-break will be played. (7 point tie-break). If the players split sets
then a 7 point match tie-break will be played in lieu of a third set. This is in accordance
with USTA Georgia regulations.
Withdrawals and Refund
Policy
Before the
deadline, withdraw through TennisLink. After the deadline, email the tournament
director.
No refunds for
withdrawals after the tournament deadline.

LATE ENTRANTS - USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments, Levels 4-5, in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, July 13, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
