The sun came out for a little bit and I got optimistic with a 10:30 a.m. start at Lifetime. Unfortunately, I think we will only have 2 courts at 10:30 a.m. at Lifetime and the rest hopefully at 12 p.m. Hence, I am going to redo the schedule for lifetime and repost in about 10 minutes. I'll update again at 11 a.m.

New times are now posted. We are starting Lifetime matches no earlier than 10:00 a.m. We will update you again at 9:00 a.m. if we think the courts at Lifetime will not be ready by 10:00 a.m.

Good Morning. Checked all the courts and the courts at Hudlow and Greater Atlanta Christian are dry. The courts at lifetime are nearly dry. The courts at Riverfield and Amberfield are wet. Hence I am rescheduling all matches to be played at Hudlow, Greater Atlanta Christian and Lifetime. Please check the site abbreviation by your match time to see if your site and time has changed. I will have new times posted by 7:45 a.m.

Selection is done right off the most updated Southern standing list. 32 players will be selected for each age group.


I got the selection list later than anticipated so I will post the selection list later tonight, Monday, December 14, by 10:30 p.m.

* Make sure you add three DIFFERENT contact numbers during the Pre Tournament Virtual Check-In THAT WILL BE ON during the tournament. They all should be cell numbers since messages will be in the form of texts. When you are called to court, all your contact phones will receive the message.

This is an advanced-level tournament sanctioned by USTA Georgia as a Level 3 (Southern Level 3 points). Registration must be completed online. In the future, you can jump straight to this tournament by entering the tournament identification number: 703463920 from the searchable schedule homepage.

Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under division will play on a full court with yellow balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for green balls in Youth Progression will play on a full court with green dot balls.

Player selection
This tournament is open for junior players regardless of ranking. You will receive an automated email if your player is selected and your credit card is charged. USTA Southern standings will be used for seeding.

Draws
Draws will be published by Thursday at 3 pm. It is your responsibility to check this tournament webpage for the players’ draws, match times and any other updates. Draw size will determine an event's starting date. Any match times found on the Internet, outside of the First Match Time Report, are unofficial. Official match times only may be found on the posted drawsheets at the tournament sites. Players must check the posted drawsheets to get their match time and location.

Format
NEW 10 & UNDER SCORING GUIDELINES For all USTA Southern 10 and Under, Level 1-3 tournament play (not including Jr. Team Tennis), the required scoring format, for singles matches, shall be the best of two short sets (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) for the third set.

A t-shirt or player's gift will be provided to each participant. Additional sites will be used. Match times and tournament information can be accessed online at least 48 hours before the first scheduled match. Awards for 1st through 4th place and consolation winner and finalist. Scoring for BG 12-18 - Main Draw and Consolation (FIC): Best of 2 sets with a Match tiebreaker in lieu of the 3rd set. Consolation final may not be played.

Withdrawals and Refund Policy
Before the deadline, withdraw through TennisLink. After the deadline, email the tournament director. No refunds after the tournament deadline. Note: the TennisLink fee is non-refundable.

Doubles for this event will start on Friday evening. There will be no singles on Friday evening. Just 2 rounds of doubles. PLEASE NOTE THAT SINGLES AND DOUBLES AGE GROUPS MUST BE THE SAME.

Friday: 2 rounds of doubles; Saturday: 1 round of doubles followed by 2 rounds of singles; Sunday: 1 round of doubles followed by 2 rounds of singles.

If draws are not full, late entries can be accepted. Late entries may be accepted or placed on the alternate list in the order received after entries received by the deadline. Entries received at the same time are ordered randomly. If the draw has been made the Tournament Committee may accept only late entries of players who do not invalidate the seeding. Tournament Directors may charge an additional $25 for a late entry.
