Match times and draws will be posted at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3. Matches will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5.

This tournament will have a Feed in Consolation for Singles and Doubles will be single elimination. Players can register for singles only, doubles only, or singles and doubles.

Our plan is to try and finish all matches on Sunday.

In response to the COVID-19, we will be using Match Tennis App’s Virtual Tournament Desk technology to help facilitate CDC best practices.

* When setting up your Match Tennis App account, all family members should sign in with the same username and password.
* Make sure you add three DIFFERENT contact numbers during the Pre Tournament Virtual Check-In THAT WILL BE ON during the tournament. They all should be cell numbers since messages will be in the form of texts. When you are called to court, all your contact phones will receive the message.
* If you need to add or change contact numbers go to “My Account” in Match Tennis App and click “Completed Waivers” to add or change contact numbers.

This is an intermediate-level tournament sanctioned by USTA Georgia as a Level 4 (Southern Level 5 points). Registration must be completed online. There will be no t-shirts given for this tournament.

Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under division will play on a full court with yellow balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for green balls in Youth Progression will play on a full court with green dot balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for orange balls or new to Youth Progression will play on a 60’ court with orange balls.

Player selection
This tournament is open for junior players regardless of ranking. You will receive an automated email if your player is selected and your credit card is charged.

Late Entry -
Full policy stated below. A $10 fee may be charged for all late entries.

Draws
Draws will be published by Thursday at 5 pm. It is your responsibility to check this tournament web page for the player draws, match times and any other updates.

Format
Limit 16 draw except when there are no League Matches. FMLC. 3rd and 4th place playoffs. Some consolations may not finish. Match times and tournament information can be accessed online at least 48 hours before the first scheduled match. Awards to winner, finalist and consolation winner and finalist.
All boys/girls 12-18's matches will be best two out of three sets. A 7 Point Set TB will be played at 6-all in games for each set.
All 10's matches will be two short sets (sets to 4 games by 2). If sets reach 3-3 you must win by two games, example: 5-3. If sets reach 4-4 a set tie-break will be played. (7 point tie-break). If the players split sets then a 7 point match tie-break will be played in lieu of a third set. This is in accordance with USTA Georgia regulations.

Withdrawals and Refund Policy
Before the deadline, withdraw through TennisLink. After the deadline, email the tournament director.
No refunds for withdrawals after the tournament deadline.

FORMAT OF PLAY/SCORING FORMAT
Singles: 16 Draw with 3rd/4th Playoff and a Feed-In-Consolation(FIC) played through the quarters.
BG12-18: Main Draw & Consolation - Best of 3 with a 10-point Match tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd Set
BG10: Main Draw & FIC matches Best of two short no-ad sets (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) for the third set.

Doubles
BG12-18: An 8-game no-ad, proset with a set tiebreak (first to seven by two) at 8 all.
BG10: A no-ad, 6-game set, with a set tiebreak (first to seven by two) at 6 all.

LATE ENTRANTS - USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments, Levels 4-5, in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries
