The courts at Hudlow and Duluth Racquet Club are totally dry. The courts at Windward are a tad damp but we feel they will be playable by 9:00 a.m. Hence, all matches are on as scheduled. Remember that we are using Duluth Racquet Club today for the Boys 16s and 18s consolation. Also remember that we are playing main draw singles matches right after doubles.

New times for Sunday are now posted. Please note that we are using 3 sites tomorrow. Remember that the main draw singles matches will play before consolation matches. The Boys 16s and Boys 18s consolation will play at Duluth Racquet Club, 2650 Olde Towne Pkwy, Duluth, GA 30097.

Due to the rain tonight, the schedule tomorrow will change. We may not be playing the 3rd round of consolation and we will be scheduling main draw matches before consolation matches. I will post the new times by 10:00 pm. tonight.

Started raining at Windward and Duluth Racquet Call. All matches that were on the court when it rained at Windward, come directly to Lifetime, 6350 Courtside Dr NW, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. All Boys 18 Doubles also report directly to Lifetime. Girls 18 Doubles report to Hudlow at 7:30 p.m. Hudlow's address is 2051 Old Rockbridge Rd, Norcross, GA 30071.

Interstate 85 is shut down at Jimmy Carter so try your best to not use I-85.

Just checked Duluth Racquet Club and we are good to go. So all matches are on as scheduled at all facilities. When you see and official say thanks for rolling puddles last night. See you at the courts today!!

The new rescheduled times for the draws are now posted. Please note that we have added 2 additional tournament sites in order to finish on time to get 1 round of doubles after singles. The sites are Windward (WIND), Hudlow (HUD), Duluth Racquet Club (DRC), Greater Atlanta Christian School (GACS), and Lifetime (LIFE) in the evening for doubles. Please note the site abbreviation next to your match time so you can report to the correct site. All site addresses are on the USTA tournament home page.

We will have lunch for players between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Windward and Hudlow.


I will update this site and the Match Tennis App via text at 7:00 a.m. to let you know if the courts will be dry and ready to go at 8:30 a.m.

Courts are soaked and no sign of courts being dry by 5:00 p.m. tonight. Therefore, all Friday night matches at Windward and Lifetime are cancelled. I emailed a tournament fact sheet to your email address listed for this tournament.

It's raining in Norcross and Alpharetta right now and it looks like it may rain until after 2 p.m. The great news is that the rain is moving out and we should be good for the rest of the weekend!! I will update you at 2:00 p.m. today on the tournament website and on the Match Tennis App about the status of our 5:00 p.m. doubles start for today. In the event we don't play doubles today, we will reschedule the draws and start with singles instead of doubles on Saturday. Additionally, I will add 2 additional sites so we can finish singles earlier and hopefully, play 1 round of doubles after 2 rounds of singles on Saturday. We will be at both sites today at 3:00 p.m. for check in.

Must be a resident of USTA Southern. This is defined as individuals who have established a legal residency in one of the nine states of USTA Southern whose geographical boundries are determined by USTA Southern. Legal residency for juniors is that of his/her legal supporting parent(s). Individuals must be United States citizens or permanent resident aliens.

USTA requires a medical release SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN for every player. This form must be presented at the time of tournament registration. Please download and bring this completed form with you. Players are not allowed on court without this signed release

Due to Alternate notification, Doubles, Time Changes, and Draw Changes, it is imperative for you to add contact information (email and phone) during the online registration process when asked. Windward Lake Club and Duluth Racquet Club uses conduct rules above and beyond those enforced by the USTA. Players participating in tournaments at the facilities identified are required to abide by these facility rules of behavior on and off of the court. These rules also apply to parents, coaches, siblings, and other guests of the players.
The list below indicates the Facility Behavior Rules:
* No use of the word "suck" or any form of the word spoken or spelled.
* No use of expressions of frustrations with references to deities (i.e. "Oh My God", "Jesus", "Jesus Christ", "Christ", "God") either spoken or spelled
* No use of "freaking", "frigging", or "fricking" or variations of such words either spoken or spelled
* No Smoking anywhere on the premises. Premises include parking lots, bathrooms, and anywhere within 30 feet of a tennis court.
Verbal rules apply to any language. We have officials on sight who are fluent in many languages. Anyone found in violation of these rules may be subject to a Code Violation and receive suspension points

For the Boys:
* Any T-shirts worn must be plain or tennis related
* No underwear should be visible above waist band or below hemline
* Shirts must be worn at all times
* Shorts must be worn appropriately above pelvic bones
* Sleeveless shirts are acceptable if made that way - no cutoffs
For the Girls:
* Any T-shirts must be plain or tennis related
* Compression shorts must be fully covered with a skirt, shorts, or dress. Also known as "shorties" or "booty shorts" are not allowed to be worn without being covered
* Skirts and shorts must be worn appropriately above the pelvic bones
* The bottom of your Shirt must touch the top of your Skirt or Short while standing upright-shoulders back; this means do not roll down your skirts or shorts. Trust us when we tell you that your equipment (skirt or short) is not working properly during play when rolled

Singles 64 Draw: Full Feed-In Thru the Round of 16. Quarter Finals loser will be put into a separate draw and play for 5th and 6th place. The 7th and 8th playoff will not play. Consolation will go through Monday.
Scoring for Main Draw Singles (16-18’s) is Best 2 of 3 Sets
Scoring for Singles Consolation is Best 2 of 3 Sets with a Tiebreak in lieu of a third set.
Doubles 32 Draw: Single Elimination with a 3rd/4th Playoff
Scoring for Doubles is a 6-game Set with tiebreak at 6 all.
IT BEARS REPEATING - ALL PLAYERS IN THE SEMIFINALS OF DOUBLES WILL PLAY AGAIN, EITHER FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP OR THE 3rd/4th POSITION!

EMAIL IS THE ONLY WAY TO COMMUNICATE FOR LATE ENTRIES. You will get a response after selections have been finalized.

Seeding shall be done using only the results from most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which players appear on the list.

One trainer will be on site at the Windward Lake Club during matches. By law, trainers are not allowed to distribute any medicine. Please bring your own Tylenol, Advil, Sinus Medicine, Epi Pens, etc. If you have an injury or illness, we strongly suggest you see the trainer. If you need to withdraw due to injury or illness, the process will be much smoother if we have confirmation from the trainer. Without confirmation, or a written doctors excuse by the end of the tournament, you may incur suspension points for leaving. Remember if you withdraw during the tournament, you must see the Head Referee in person or it will count as a "No Show."
Please note: The trainer has a lot of ground to cover with on-court issues and many people to see off the court. They are not there to give massages due to limited time and lack of privacy; but, they will advise you on various techniques you or your parents can do. Also, there is a science to applying Kinesiology Tape due to a specific diagnosis. Without the diagnosis from a doctor, the trainers will not apply this type tape. If you require this type tape due to a pre-existing injury, please learn how to tape before the tournament.

There will be an Experienced Stringer at Windward Lake Club during the tournament. Cost with your own string is $18. We also have a large string inventory if you do not have your own.

Players may register for 2 age divisions in this Level tournament. Players that do register for both age divisions will automatically be selected in the older age division if they are selected for both divisions. They will be removed from the other age division. Players not selected to either division will remain on the alternates lists for both division but will be obligated to play the division they first get in from the alternates list. They will be removed from the Alternates list in the other division. Once a player is
selected for any one division NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE. Alternates may only switch divisions if there is an opening in the draw they want to switch into.
