Players not registered for the singles tournament can register for doubles. But please note that the selection for doubles is in the following order: 1. Teams with both players entered in the singles. 2. Teams with one player entered in singles and one alternate. 3. Teams with one player entered in singles and one player not registered for singles. 4. Teams with 2 alternates5. Teams with both players not registered for singles.

When setting up your Match Tennis App account, all family members should sign in with the same username and password. This is an advanced-level tournament sanctioned by USTA Georgia as a Level 1 (Southern Level 2 points). Registration must be completed online. Players may register for two age divisions. Players will automatically be selected for the older age division. In 2021, this tournament will receive National Level 5 points and it is shadow ranked as a National Level 5 this year.

Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under division will play on a full court with yellow balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for green balls in Youth Progression will play on a full court with green dot balls. Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for orange balls in Youth Progression will play on a short court with orange dot balls.

Player selection
This tournament is open for junior players regardless of ranking. You will receive an automated email if your player is selected and your credit card is charged. USTA Southern standings will be used for seeding and selections. Selections will be made by the Southern Office.

Late Entrants
The USTA Southern late entry policy will be followed and is stated below.


Draws
Draws will be published by Thursday at 3 pm. It is your responsibility to check this tournament web page for the players draws, match times and any other updates. BG 12-18s Draw size: Singles: 64 draw; Doubles: 32 draw. .BG10s Green Ball Draw size: Singles 32 draw; Doubles 16 draw.
BG10s Orange Ball Draw size: Singles 16 draw; Doubles 8 draw.


Format
For all USTA Southern 10 and Under, Level 1-3 tournament play (not including Jr. Team Tennis), the required scoring format for singles matches, shall be the best of two short sets (first to four (4) and win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) for the third set. No-ad scoring.
Scoring for BG 12-18 - Main Draw and Consolation (FIC): Best of 2 sets with a 10 pt. Match tiebreaker in lieu of the 3rd set.
Doubles - All doubles players must play in the same age division as they do in singles. BG 12-18 - 6 game set with a 7 point set tiebreak at 6 all. Ad scoring. BG 10 - 6 game set with a 7 point set tiebreak at 6 all. No-ad scoring.

Withdrawals and Refund Policy
Before the deadline, withdraw through TennisLink. After the deadline, email the tournament director. Refunds are only available for players who do not complete a match due to inclement weather or cancellation of the tournament. If there is a refund, it would be minus the fixed costs of the tournament. Note: the TennisLink fee is non-refundable.

$1000 - split 600/400 between B18 winner/finalist
$1000 - split 600/400 between G18 winner/finalist
$500 - split $300/$200 between G16 winner/Finalist
$500 - split $300/$200 between B16 winner/Finalist

BG 12’s – 18’s divisions: - 64 players will be chosen in standing order from the most recently published USTA Southern standings list.
BG 10’s divisions (Green): - 32 players will be chosen in standing order from the most recently published USTA Southern 10U Green Ball standings list.
BG10’s divisions (Orange): - 16 players will be chosen in standing order from the most recently published USTA Georgia 10U Orange Ball standings list
The USTA Southern PPR Standings List published immediately following the close of entries will be used as the major consideration for entry into the Peach State Junior Closed Championship for the BG 12s - 18s divisions. The USTA Southern PPR Standings list will be use for BG10 Orange.

LATE ENTRANTS - USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments, Levels 4-5, in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries
