HEAT WARNING PLAN and MATCH TIMES
Hello Everyone, As you all may know by now, we are under an Excessive Heat Warning in Indiana till Sunday evening. We want to be extremely careful and avoid the players from having any heat illness/stroke. *Due to the heat, players will get as much time as they need to take a break in between matches. If the heat index or feel like temperature is 105 degrees, we will stop all matches on court. Depending on who still has to play matches and everyone's schedules, we will most likely finish the remaining matches Sunday morning or Saturday evening.
*We will have a big water cooler for everyone to fill up their bottles and jugs. We will also have a big cooler full of ice. If anyone needs to cool down, then we can escort you inside the middle school for air conditioning. It would be nice if there is a chance of rain to help us all cool down a bit too. *We want to start the 1st round of matches as soon as possible. Please arrive as soon as you can. We will put players on right away if their opponent is there too.*We would like to move the start time for the 9 AM matches to 8:30 AM. I am unable to change the current match time on the website because it has already been published. If you are unable to be here at 8:30 AM, it will not count against you at all. However, if your match is at 9 AM we expect you to be there by then.*For the players with 10 AM matches, please plan to arrive at 9:30 AM.
Tentative Schedule of Matches: *Boys are doing a Round Robin. Each match is one regular 6 game set with ad scoring and 7 point tiebreaker at 6-6.
