FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES TO ENSURE YOU'LL RECEIVE COURT ASSIGNMENTS VIA TEXT
* When setting up your Match Tennis App account, all family members should sign in with the same username and password.
* Make sure you add three DIFFERENT contact numbers during the Pre Tournament Virtual Check-In THAT WILL BE ON during the tournament. They all should be cell numbers since messages will be in the form of texts. When you are called to court, all your contact phones will receive the message.
* If you need to add or change contact numbers go to “My Account” in Match Tennis App and click “Completed Waivers” to add or change contact numbers.

PLAYER INFORMATION - (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY )
1. Use MatchTenisApp "PLAYER CHECK-IN" 15 - 30 minutes before your match. Do not check-in any earlier than this time. If you check-in late you, will be penalized per USTA FAC. 2. When your match is called...go directly to your court (THERE IS NO TOURNAMENT DESK) - click the blue link to confirm your court assignment. Then you will be able to report the scores after your match. 3. Match balls - 1 can of balls will be provided (on court). The balls are yours to keep after the match so remember to collect them before leaving the court. Please remember that players (not umpires) are responsible for retrieving any balls that go over any fences. If the ball is irretrievable than a new ball will be placed in play. We will not provide used balls. 4. Players will use scoring device (only one player will keep up with the score). 5. Please bring your own Ice and water (we do have refill stations if needed). Volunteers will assist at a safe distance. 6. Players are encouraged to bring their own chairs in order to maintain social distancing. 7. After the match and before you leave the court, report your scores via the TennisMatchApp link sent to your cellphone. Please gather your trash and take with you when you leave the court and the facility. We will be sanitizing and prepping courts for the next matches. 8. Practice courts will be available early in the morning - 7:00 am - 7:30 am as they will be sanitized for matches beginning at 7:30 am. 9. Spectators of players should bring your own chairs to watch matches...bleachers will be blocked off. 10. Face masks should be worn when not socially distancing.

FACILITY GUIDLEINES
Players, parents or coaches will not be allowed in the buildings. Only tournament officials, racquet stringer and trainer will be allowed in the building. MASK ARE REQUIRED IN THE BUILDING. Players should bring their own water and ice. Players should bring only one person with them to the match site. If there is a rain delay players will be directed to their cars. Social distancing is required at all times. Restrooms will be available. Hand sanitizer will be available as you exit the match site. Players should not shake hands. Players should use racquets to return ball to adjacent courts. DO NOT TOUCH the balls.

Player and Spectator Covid - 19 Guidelines and Recommendations

If you are sick with any symptoms at ALL, DO NOT ATTEND OR PLAY A MATCH! Guidelines for Players –
Social distancing:
? Arrive at the venue dressed for your match shortly before your allotted start time
and depart the venue immediately after the match. Do not use the locker rooms
or showers
? Players should maintain at least 6 feet between each other and officials
? Do not shake hands with players/opponents or have any other physical/close
contact before, during or after a match
? Balls should be touched as little as possible; use your racket or foot instead
? At changeovers, go around opposite sides of the net
? Do not share any equipment or other items (racket, water bottles, food) with
teammates or opponents
? Exit the facility as soon as your match is completed and scores reported
? Follow any other facility guidelines or recommendations
Observe good hygiene:
? Avoid touching surfaces where possible
? Wash/sanitize your hands regularly, including before and after bathroom use,
and after touching surfaces
? Use hand sanitizer after the completion of the match
? Cough into a tissue and discard it immediately
? Don’t touch your face
? Bring personal hand sanitizer and wipes to the tournament
? Sanitize your grip; wipe and disinfect your racquet after play
? Do not place personal items on public surfaces. Ex. Towels should be placed on
your bag not on the court, fence or net post.

SEEDING and DRAWS
Seeding shall be done using only the results
from most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of the
division in the order in which players appear on the list. Players selected on
their 10's standing shall not be considered for seeding in the 12's
division. . Draws
and seeds will be posted on Thursday, October 1st, by 3:00 pm.

PLAYING FORMAT AND SCORING
BG12-18s
All Singles draws will play the best two out of three tie-break
sets with a Match tie break in lieu of the third set, with a Full Feed in
Consolation through the Quarterfinals and 3/4 playoff. The Finals
of the Consolation Draw will not be scheduled and will not be played. BG10s: Boys and Girls 10's will play on the regular 78' court, using
Green Ball. The required scoring format for 10's singles matches shall be the
best of two short sets with no-ad scoring (first to four (4) and win by two),
with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and
a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) in lieu of the third
set.

ALTERNATES
Alternate’s List: The alternate list will be updated daily after
selections are made. Once posted, it will be listed above - "Alternate by
Event" list. If you plan to enter another tournament, you have to first
e-mail the Tournament Director to take your name off the alternate list.
On Site Alternates must register at their age group's tournament
site. You must inform the Tournament Referee on Thursday night or before that
you plan to be an On-Site Alternate. Please make sure we have accurate contact
information for you to be reached during the weekend. On-Site Alternates will
be selected in the order of the Alternates List. On Site Alternates should be
on-site when their age and gender check in for play 30 minutes prior to the
first match in the first round (or 2nd round if there are Byes).

WEATHER/REFUNDS
In the event of inclement weather and you do not play any matches in this
tournament you are entitled to a partial refund based on the fixed tournament
expenses. Please understand that tournaments have fixed costs which include:
Trophies, T-shirts, Balls, USTA Officials, and many other costs that we must
cover. The Tennislink portion of your entry fee is non-refundable in accordance
with USTA policy. If you do complete a match, there is no refund/credit. Thank
you for your understanding.

DRESS CODE
The Tournament
committee has set a dress code for this Tournament, the rules to which all
participants are expected to adhere. These Rules are based on our community
standards and all participants must observe, all rules, at all of the sites
used during the tournament. Good manners on and off the court will be required
of all participants, coaches and family at all times. Proper tennis
attire should be worn. For females, proper attire does not include, roll down
waist bands on skirts or shorts, or exposure of skin between tops and skirts or
shorts. For males, proper attire does not include tank tops or sleeveless
shirts, or shorts worn below the waist. Shirts must be worn at all times. Please respect our standards and adhere to our

Late entries may be accepted or placed on the
alternate list in the order received after entries received by the
deadline. Entries received at the same time are ordered randomly. If

Waterfall process for splitting competitors 32 players will be selected for each event and then split into two draws of 16 players using the waterfall system selection. If a draw has 23 players or less, then a single 32 draw will be played with the feed in through the quarterfinals. Seeding will be made prior to the players being spit. The 32 players will be split as follows: Red draw: 1,4,5,8,9,12,13,16,17,20,21,24,25,28,29,32 White draw: 2,3,6,7,10,11,14,15,18,19,22,23,26,27,30,31

Entering two divisions Players are allowed to enter two divisions in the Southern Levels 1A, 2 and 3 tournaments. 1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected in the older age division. 2. Players are not selected to either division would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated to player the division they first get in from the alternates list. They would be removed from the alternates list in the other division. 3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. 4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

Seeding and Draws Seeding shall be done using only the results from the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings Lists of the division in the order in which players appear on the list.
