Update 09/05/19 4:36 p.m. We sent out an email earlier this
morning that doubles is cancelled. We lost 1 of our venues. We also
sent our a cancellation email to all girls 12 as well.
Update 09/05/19 9:05 a.m. the draws will be posted at 5 p.m.
today maybe sooner. We are currently experiencing technical
difficulties.
Draws shall be limited to 16 players per division.
Draws: Will be posted y noon the Thursday after registration
closes. Match times will be determined after registration closes
since we do not know how many players we will have. This is a 2 day
event.
Doubles: Players and Parents are responsible for obtaining
their own partners for doubles match. If, by Wednesday at 6 a.m.
players do not have a partner players will be paired
accordingly.
Directions: please use the address above to arrive to the
destination on time.
Inclement Weather Policy:
In the event of inclement weather and matches have not yet begun
for the day, matches may need to be delayed by one or more hours,
or even suspended for the day. If this happens, an update will be
posted on the tournament homepage. If it rains and matches are
already being played, players will be called off the courts.
Tournament director will take scores and tell players when to
return to finish matches. An update will then be posted on the
tournament homepage. Players are expected to be available for the
duration of the tournament. Please continue to check the tournament
homepage. Contacting the tournament will only slow us down from
getting the tennis courts prepared for match play. If there is rain
on a tournament weekend, match formats may be shortened,
consolations may be cancelled, worse case tournament may be
considered complete.
Format: The best 2 out of 3 sets with a tie breaker in lieu
of a full set for singles. No ads. Short Sets or 8 game
Proset may be implement. An 8 game proset for consolation matches;
no ads. Depending the number of players, the consolation may
not be played to completion.
Withdraw: Players are able to withdraw online any time
before the deadline by editing their own registration via the
tournament homepage.
Refund Policy: There are no refunds in the event of
inclement weather. There are no refunds once registration closes..
There are no refunds if you withdraw regardless the reason. There
are no credits towards another tournament regardless the reason
with exception to tournament administration error.
Waiver of Liability: Players, families of players, and
spectators selected for this tournament hereby release S. Marie
Adams, MNCPP, and USTA and entire staff from any and all loss,
claim, damages, injuries or liability that may arise from the
player's participation in this event. The players and families
accept full responsibility for their use of any and all device,
facility privileges or services whatsoever, and shall hold S. Marie
Adams, MNCPP, and USTA and its staff harmless against any such
claims.
Messages
MAS EVENT REFUNDS Member organizations are not required to refund players for tournaments affected by inclement weather. Per MAS regulations, in the event of inclement weather a tournament may utilize a shortened format in order to play the tournament to completion. If the tournament cannot be played, it is the MAS recommendation that players be offered a credit to a future tournament hosted by the same organization. However, this is only a recommendation and not a policy. Each member organizations shall post their refund policy on the tournament homepage.

Due to ongoing challenges associated with Covid 19 every tournament is being reviewed to verify that all recommended safety protocols can be met. There may be situations where a previously posted event may need to modify draw sizes, formats, or divisions to ensure safety for all participants. In the event of a change notification of such changes shall be posted on the registration page for the event impacted and all registrants will be notified by email. Please verify that you are providing up to date contact information when registering so that you receive all updates.
**A player who has been exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19 in the time between player selection and the first scheduled match, may request a refund or credit up to 50% of the entry fee not including Tennislink Fee. The request must be in writing, at least 12 hours in advance of the first scheduled match and must include specific reference to a confirmed exposure or diagnosis.

PLAY TO COMPLETION As per MAS Regulations if a player does not intend to play a match, the player must notify the tournament director within one (1) hour of the end of the previous match of his/her intention not to play. Failure to do so will result in a Default/no show code for the match; five (5) penalty points on a player’s record; loss of points for the tournament; and the event will not count toward the player’s Endorsement List eligibility. TWO (2) PENALTY POINTS will be assessed to players who do not play any/all scheduled matches.

Effective October 1, 2019 - Players should have a standing of at least 250 on the current MAS Standing List to compete in an L5 or L6! This is a recommendation not a requirement.
