The Mayors Cup All-Scholastic Tennis Championship was first hosted by NYJTL (New York Junior Tennis & Learning) in 1988. The tournament is the premier event for New York City school children and has earned the honor of being named the largest scholastic tennis event in the US. With a total of 14 different events and more than 800 participants, the NYJTL Mayor's Cup provides the perfect opportunity for New York City’s junior tennis players to showcase their on-court talents. The NYJTL Mayor's Cup is a FREE event for all participants. Each player will receive a commemorative t-shirt in recognition of his/her participation.

Application to Tournament
Application to the Mayor's Cup is through the nyjtl.org website. The application can be printed or filled in on-line. Once the application is processed, players should check the NYJTL Mayor's Cup website to confirm their entry

UTR Rating System
UTR will be used for seeding. Scores will be entered into UTR if all players are registered at UTR. Please go to MYUTR.com to register as a player. Children 13 and under must be registered by their parents.

Entry Guidelines
ENTRY DEADLINE IS FRIDAY May 17, 2019 for Singles. doubles entries close June 3. All entrants must be currently enrolled in a New York City School Students currently in 3rd-12th grades are eligible to compete If your school has a tennis team, you must be an active participant on the team, or have tried out for the team, and be endorsed by your coach Varsity players are only eligible to compete in the Varsity Division; Middle School players are only eligible to compete in the Middle School Division; Elementary School players are only eligible to compete in the Elementary Division. Players are allowed to compete in Singles and Doubles. Doubles partners must attend the same school. Entry to this tournament is open to USTA Members, USTA Members who have an expired membership and Non-USTA Members. Entries must be submitted by Friday, May 17, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time.
