Start Time for Matches Friday, September 6th
All 9:30 am singles matches are on time! Please check website after 11:30 am for the scheduled doubles matches at 1:30 pm.

HOW TO GET HERE
The most convenient airport to the club is Newark Liberty International Airport.
Please use Google Maps or similar to determine your route to the club
at 5 Tennis Court Lane, Rumson, NJ.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULING

Practice courts will be available on Monday, September 2 from 12
to 3 pm
- Singles and
Doubles Match Play will start on Tuesday, September 3

Consolation matches will start on Wednesday, September 4.

The tournament will host a casual dinner party on the evening of
Wednesday, September 4

If weather through the week is favorable, the Doubles Final
will be played on Saturday, September 7, and the Singles Final
will be played on Sunday, September 8
- Weather delays may
result in finals being played as late as Monday, September 10

ATTIRE
- All white playing attire INCLUDING SHOES will be strictly enforced
- Collared shirts are mandatory
- Tennis shoes must have smooth soles. Nubs are not allowed

MATCH INFORMATION
- Match play will start no earlier than 9:30am each day
- Per USTA guidelines, players may be required to play 2 matches per day, including 2 singles matches
- First round consolation matches may be played on grass or Har-Tru (depending on court availability)
- If unfavorable weather conditions cause delays, early round matches may be played on Har-Tru

USTA Category I Championship (ITF Grade A)
This tournament will receive USTA Category I and ITF Grade A ranking points per round won (Please note, the ITF only ranks Men’s & Women’s 35-85 and over singles, doubles, and mixed. If you are playing in any other division, you will not earn ITF ranking points). In order to receive USTA ranking points for this tournament, a player must be a current USTA member. In order to receive ITF ranking points, a player must have a valid ITF IPIN BEFORE the start of the tournament. FOREIGN PLAYERS
Non U.S. citizens may enter this tournament without the purchase of a USTA membership. You may do so, as long as you are in good standing with your home federation and have a current ITF IPIN. You must also create a free USTA account. Once you have done so, you may email the tournament director with your new USTA account number, remit payment, and be entered into the tournament. Consolation Matches May be Played on Har-tru Courts due to large number of singles entries

For Adult & Senior National Rankings: This tournament will calculate as a Category I (10x). Champions will receive 1000 points.
|
No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Friday, August 23, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
