Players, please check the competitor's lists closely to confirm that you are in doubles (if you registered to play doubles) and that you are paired with the correct partner. If there is an error, you must contact me immediately. Players who requested partners and were subsequently paired up should have contacted each other by this time. If you don't have your partner's contact information or haven't heard from your partner, please contact me immediately.

Please join us at check in from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Darling Tennis Center on Friday, February 7 for a free pizza and salad dinner for parents and players. Check in is NOT mandatory. If you can't make it to check in, you can pick up your player shirt anytime during the tournament.

Draws will be published by 9 a.m. PST on Friday, March 7. The earliest matches will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday, February 8 with doubles being played first, followed by singles. Two round of doubles will be played on Saturday. The doubles draw is single elimination through the quarters. Teams that lose in the semi's of the main draw will have a playoff for 3/4. The singles draw is a Feed-In Consolation (FIC) through the Round of 16. The FIC shall be played to completion. The FIC shall be considered part of the tournament and participation is mandatory for all singles players. There will be a 3/4 play off for semi-final losers in singles and doubles, and a 5/6 playoff for the quarter final singles losers, but no 7/8 match.

All matches will be played with the Wilson US Open ball. Regular Duty balls will be used for the Girls divisions, Extra Duty balls for the Boys divisions.

An Athletic Trainer will be on site at the Darling Tennis Center from 7:30A-5P on Saturday & Sunday, and from 7:30A-3P on Monday. The AT will also provide the following treatment modalities: NormaTec Pulse Recovery System; Hypervolt Percussion Massage; Hyperice Venom Heat and Vibration Wearable Technology and Vibrating Foam Rollers.

Doubles matches will be played first on Saturday, followed by singles rounds and then a 2nd round of doubles in the afternoon/evening. Sunday’s matches may start with doubles followed by singles. However, this rotation and the overall schedule of play below is subject to change depending on weather conditions. An alternate venue or venues may be used in the event of rain.

Day 1: 2 main draw singles, 1 cons singles, 2 rounds of doubles.
Day 2: 2 main draw singles, 2 cons singles, 1 Q-cons playoff, 1 round of doubles
Day 3: Singles & Doubles Finals and 3/4 playoff, 2 cons singles, Q-cons Final

If you would like to reserve a court at the Darling Tennis Center on Friday, February 7, please call the front desk at (702) 229-2100. Practice courts at Darling will be available on a first-come, first-served basis prior to the start of the 8 a.m. matches from Saturday, February 8-Monday, February 10. No practice courts will be available at Darling after 8 a.m. on these days. However, there are a number of facilities near the tennis center where players can practice. Courts can also be reserved at some of these facilities. Please see the "Practice Courts" list below.

Singles: best 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets with a Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set, regular scoring.
Doubles: 8-game pro set with a 7 point tiebreak at 8-games all, NO-AD scoring
Modified scoring formats may be used in the event of rain.

On site alternates should check in at the Tournament Desk of the Darling Tennis Center by 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 8. If a position becomes available, an on site alternate will be selected according to the published order of the alternate list, not the order of check in.

In case of a split during any singles match (main draw or consolation), there is a 3 minute authorized rest period between the end of the 2nd set and the start of the 10-point match tiebreak. DURING THIS 3 MINUTE AUTHORIZED REST PERIOD PLAYERS MAY RECEIVE COACHING. Coaching is allowed only on the court on in an area designated near the court by the umpire. A player may receive coaching by cell phone or other electronic device. However, a player shall turn off the phone or device at the end of the rest period.

The rest time between singles and doubles is a max of 60'. The rest time from doubles to singles is a max of 30'. The rest period between singles matches is equal to the length of the match up to a max rest period of two hours. In the event that a match runs long, players must request an extended rest period to have a match time changed. If no extended rest period is requested, the match time will remain as originally scheduled.
