Note: The team calculations on TennisLink are not correct. The software is not fully compatible with the uniqueness of this tournament. In order for each individual's match to count towards ranking, the software calculates each match as one point for the team, both doubles and singles. In other words the software is using a 9 point team score counting each doubles match as a point instead of using a 7 point team score counting the majority of doubles wins as one point. As far as the team wins and losses, use the posted draws below. Your individual matches are correct in TennisLink and will correctly count towards rankings.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
TOURNAMENT ADMINISTRATION:This is a unique event in that it is a team format with individual registration. Because of that, the tournament software is not capable of providing the usual formats for displaying Selection Lists and Alternates Lists by division. We have to go to a lot of extra work to create and post the reports you expect to see. The first few days after selections are made, we will be diligently working on this; so please be patient with us. When selections are finalized, we will create the reports you expect to see. If you are wanting to see the order of alternates, please see section below regarding the Ordered Alternates in the Section titled Tournament Registration and Selection Process.
Below are a few items of importance. Please scroll through the entire website as most of your questions can be answered here. --This is a Level 1 National Team Championship. --The Tournament will include 4 Singles Matches and 4 Doubles Matches along with training and education. --There are 16 Boys teams and 16 Girls Teams. --There are 6 players on a team, two from each age division. --There are 32 competitors per age division. --A player must be present all five days to participate in this event. --Mandatory Registration is Friday evening. Players will only be able to placed on a team and participate if they have come to mandatory registration. --Teams are made after registration Friday. --The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams shall receive Gold, Silver and Bronze Medallions. --You will register as an individual. --Participants will make and pay for their own travel arrangements, and will require chaperons. --At this time, there will not be transportation provided. --You may only register for one age division. --You need only register for singles. Although the system allows doubles entry, we will not make selections for doubles because all competitors will play doubles.--Coaches are only responsible for on court activities and team building exercises. Coaches are not chaperons and will not provide transportation. Even if a player's regular coach is at the event, that coach may be assigned to a team which does not include that specific player. That coach will be occupied with his team and cannot be responsible for his regular student during the event. --No housing is provided for players. --Wednesday, March 4th, you can use a 5:00 completion as a guideline for travel purposes. We try to finish as early as possible on the last day but weather will determine what that time will be.

MANDATORY TOURNAMENT CHECK IN:
ALL PLAYERS MUST BE PHYSICALLY ON SITE AT THE MOBILE TENNIS CENTER BY 8:00 PM FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH, IN ORDER TO BE PLACED ON A TEAM. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS! In theory, the tournament schedule is to have a practice day and matches start on Sunday. We have the flexibility to start matches earlier if it looks like weather might be an issue. In order to start matches early, possibly even Saturday morning, players have to be here Friday night. There will be no exceptions to this Mandatory Check In. We understand some of you might have weather delays in your area preventing you from getting here on time. We strongly suggest you make your travel plans with delays in mind. If we have onsite alternates or alternates within driving distance (three hours or less); we will not be able to save a spot for you because the team is dependent on all positions. You should make your plans with the Friday Mandatory check-in time as your guide.
ALTERNATES - We strongly suggest you pay close attention to your position on the alternates list. If you can come on a moments notice, please email the tournament director of your availability. If you are the first or second alternate, you may want to consider being onsite close to the end of mandatory registration. No matter where you are on the alternates list, if you are in driving distance, you may want to be onsite close to the end of mandatory registration. Any open spots at 8:00 pm will first go to an onsite alternate based on where they fall on the alternates list if more than one is present. If there are no onsite alternates, we will start calling alternates in order from the list.

TEAM UNIFORMS
Each player will receive 4 Shirts to be worn during team matches.
Please bring additional white and black shirts as back ups. The color of the shirt worn for each match will be decided by the tournament committee. Under the Uniform Schedule below select "more info" to see the color and styles. We suggest bringing shorts or skirts in white and black for team uniformity. To further the team camaraderie, the players' families or guests may want to wear apparel in similar colors. Any other team spirit items are encouraged such as bandanas, hats, pompoms, etc. but please no noisemakers. We have also provided these shirt colors so if you do not wear tanks or need long sleeve, you can bring your own to match your team. There will be college coaches watching and you not matching your team will stand out in a negative way.

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION AND SELECTION PROCESS
EVENT PROFILE: This site is hosting the USTA National Spring Team Championships for Boys’ and Girls' 18, 16 and 14 Divisions
ELIGIBILITY:Amateur players who meet the U.S. citizenship or residency requirements (see Section 4), the USTA age eligibility requirements, and membership requirements (current USTA membership) may enter.
ENTRY DEADLINE: The entry deadline for the USTA National Spring Team Championships is Thursday, February 06, 2020 11:59 AM (Eastern Time). This is one minute before NOON EASTERN TIME; it will still be daylight when registration closes. The selection process starts immediately once registration closes, so it is not possible to add late entries to the selection process even if you missed the deadline by a few minutes. It is also not possible to withdraw you during the automated selection process. You will be charged if selected.
ENTRY PROCESS: Players must enter using TennisLink. When tournaments are asked to give prior written approval to enter the USTA National Spring Team Championships and a concurrent tournament, that discretion continues to lie with the tournament. This tournament will not approve concurrent entries.
TOURNAMENT SELECTION AND ALTERNATES: Separate USTA National Spring Team Championships shall be held for boys and girls. The TennisLink selection system shall accept 32 players from each division (BG 18-14) into the draw as follows: • Up to 4 wild cards using the same process established for USTA National Championships (See Wildcards section below). Wildcards will not be selected during the automated process. Wildcards will be selected at a later date. It will appear there are openings for alternates, but we cannot fill these spots until the wildcard decisions are made. • The remaining players from most recently published National Standings List from each age division, provided they have submitted timely entries, in the order in which their names appear.
Online Notification: Main draw players and alternates can view lists published to the TennisLink Tournament Home Page no later than 3 days after the entries close. All players accepted by the TennisLink system will be sent a confirmation email that includes as part of the text of the email the USTA Release and Waiver Form (please email, tennismobile@gmail.com or fax, (251) 208-5195, in this completed waiver). Any accepted player whose credit card was unable to be charged will also be sent an email notifying them of the problem with the credit card and instructing them to contact the tournament to make arrangements for payment.
Ordered Alternate List. The Tournament Committee shall prepare an alternate list for each division of those players with timely entries not accepted into the draw in the order in which their names appear on the same National Standings List used to accept players into the draw. Late entrants shall be placed on the alternate list in the order received after timely entries. Late entries received at the same time shall be ordered by lot. The Alternate List will be published to the TennisLink Tournament Home Page as soon as possible and no later than 5 days after entries close. The order of players on an Alternate List is NOT to be changed if a new National Standings List is published. Before this list is published, you can see your order by going to the "Selection Process" tab and selecting your division. Find the first yellow dot and count down until you find your name, that is your order number.
On-Site Alternates. On-site alternates are those players on the alternate list who have come to the tournament site to be a last-minute replacement for a withdrawing player. The Tournament Committee shall establish a procedure for checking in on-site alternates and instruct players on the tournament website. The procedure shall include the following: • On each day in which alternates may be accepted into a draw, any alternate desiring admittance must check in and be ready for play no later than 15 minutes prior to the first scheduled match time of the event for which they are an alternate. • The order of the alternates is based on the original Alternate List published by the tournament, not a more recent National Standings List, and not in the order in which the players check in. On-Site Alternates may be admitted into the tournament to fill in for a player unable to play a match. The original player if able may continue in the original spot on the team in subsequent matches. If the player is withdrawing from the tournament and not just a match, the onsite alternate will stay in that spot on the team.
TOURNAMENT ADMINISTRATION: This is a unique event in that it is a team format with individual registration. Because of that, the tournament software is not capable of providing the usual formats for displaying Selection Lists and Alternates Lists by division. We have to go to a lot of extra work to create and post the reports you expect to see. The first few days after selections are made, we will be diligently working on this; so please be patient with us. Email is the preferred and most times only method of accepted communication. Emails are answered in the order received. If you send more than one email on the same subject, you will get responses to all emails in order. When emailing, always expect a response. That is your confirmation your email has been received and any necessary actions will be taken. If your email prompts a change that should be seen online, just know all changes require multiple steps as well as removal and uploading of reports. Usually, the response to email is made after the action has been taken on our end. While we are capable of making mistakes, give us 24 hours before you expect to see it online. If you do not see the change within a couple of days, please email and if necessary call.
