2019 EasterBowl ITF B1 Acceptance Process
The Easter Bowl 18 and under event has been a closed ITF
grade B1 event since 2005. The same acceptance process has been used each year.
Players must have an active ITF IPIN
account in order to enter and compete in this event.
Step 1
In an agreement with the International Tennis Federation
Juniors Committee, a truncated list of the first 40 Americans on the ITF Junior
Ranking List is created. If any of the players on this list enter, they receive
direct acceptances. The February 25, 2019 ITF ranking list will be used to
create this truncated list. Step 2
The remaining vacancies are filled with players not already
accepted from the Boys’ and Girls’ 18 and under National Standing list in the
order in which they appear on that list. The list from February 28, 2018 will
be used for this purpose. Step 3
According to ITF rules, eight (8) wild cards are available
for a 64 draw event. Unused wild cards revert back to the wild card committee. Qualifying
The qualifying will be a 64 draw and eight (8) players will
qualify for the main draw. Qualifying acceptances will be based on the Boys’
and Girls’ 18 and under National Standing List of February 27, 2019.
Qualifying Alternates
Qualifying alternates are ordered using the
February 27, 2019 Boys’ and Girls’ 18 and under National Standing list in the
order in which they appear on that list.
