TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Level 6 tournaments are in general run over 2 days. As a result, BG12-18 and adults can expect to play matches on either/both days. Match start times may be as early as 8 AM. Match start times may be as late as 8 PM for BG12-14 and as late as 9 PM for BG16-18 and adults, depending on number of applicants.
10U Green and Orange Ball Events are 1 day events and will be run on Sunday.

Please Be On Time!
Players
should check in and be ready to play (warmed up, stretched, and been to
the restroom) at least 15 minutes before the match start time. If a court is open, we will get the match started asap in order to avoid any delays later in the day!

Important Information:
Tournament
Notes are VERY important, please be sure to read them thoroughly! New
Notes may be posted throughout the week and weekend, please check
tournament website for new notes, as well as confirm start times of next
match on the draw, well before your coming match!

Match Formats:
BG 12-18's Round of 32, 16 and Quarterfinal matches will be best two out of three sets with no add scoring. A supertiebreaker will be played in leiu of a third set (first to 10 points win by 2 points).
Semi-Finals and Finals will utilize regular scoring. Consolation matches will be best two out of three short sets with a supertiebreaker played in leiu of third set. A short set is a set to 4, with a tiebreaker at 4-4 (first to 7 points win by 2 points). Consolation match scoring will be no-adds.
B10's matches will be best two out of three short sets. Short set is the first to 4 games, at
3-3, one more game is played - whoever wins that game wins that set.
If players split sets. a tiebreaker (first to 7 points win by 2 points)
is played. No add scoring will be used. Co-Ed10's will be one set to 6 games. If players get to 5-5, a tiebreaker first to 7 points win by 2 points will be played. No add scoring will be used.

10&Unders - 10&U Orange Ball Level 1 and Level 2 tournaments will be played on 60' courts with orange balls and racquets that are 25" or shorter. Director will be checking racquets before first matches.

Rain Policy:
If it rains and matches have not yet begun for the day, matches may need to be delayed by one or more hours, or even cancelled for the day. If this happens, an update will be posted on the tournament homepage at least one hour before the time for the first matches of the day. If it rains and matches are already being played, players will be called off the courts. Tournament director will take scores and tell players when to return to finish matches. An update will then be posted on the tournament homepage. Please continue to check the tournament homepage. If there is rain on a tournament weekend, match formats may be shortened, consolations may be cancelled, worst case tournament may be considered complete.

Wakefield
Park (WKFLD): 8100 Braddock Road Annandale, VA 22003 Notes: Once you
get to the park, follow signs to Audrey Moore Rec Center. When you turn into parking lot, the rec center is on the left. The tennis courts are in the back right corner of the parking lot. Restrooms are in the rec center. From 495: Take Exit 54, Braddock Road West. At light, turn right onto W Braddock Road (you'll see a big sign for Wakefield Park and Audrey Moore Rec Center). Continue to the back of the park area, turn left at signs for Audrey Moore Rec Center.

Jefferson Park (JEFF): 7900 Lee Highway Falls Church VA 22042
Notes: Once you get to the park, go left at the mini golf to get to the
tennis courts. If you need to use the restroom, go right at the mini
golf to the main golf center. Restrooms are in the front door to the
right.
From the South: Take 495 towards Tysons (West). Take Exit 50B, Route
50/Arlington Blvd East. Keep right to take the Fairview Park ramp.
Take left onto Fairview Park Drive. Take Fairfview Park through traffic
light at Lee Highway and turn left into Jefferson Park.
From the North: Take 495 to Exit 50A, Route 50/Arlington Blvd West.
Merge onto Gallows Road towards Lee Hwy/Route 29. Take Gallows Road 4
to 5 traffic lights, make a right onto Lee Highway. At second light,
make a left. Turn left into Jefferson Park.

Courts are outdoors! Please dress accordingly, as it may be chilly in the morning and/or evening!

Policy Regarding Refunds/Credits:
Players are able to withdraw online anytime before the deadline by editing their own registration via the tournament homepage. After the tournament deadline, no refunds or credits will be issued if a player is unable to play. If there is a rainout and an event is not played at all, a credit may be issued for a future outdoor David LeMair Tennis Tournament (to be chosen by player) within a certain time frame.

Waiver of Liability
Players and families of players selected for this tournament hereby release David LeMair Tennis and entire staff from any and all
loss, claim, damages, injuries or liability that may arise from the
player's participation in this event. The players and families accept full
responsibility for their use of any and all apparatus, facility
privileges or services whatsoever, and shall hold David LeMair Tennis and its staff harmless
against any such claims.

MAS REGULATIONS AND RANKING POINTS
MAS Regulations and Ranking Points This tournament operates in accordance with the rules and guidelines listed in USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations and USTA Friend at Court. By registering for this event, players and parents are agreeing to be familiar with and abide by all aspects of the MAS Regulations to include meeting sportsmanship expectations, all aspects of fair play, and respecting the game of tennis.

MAS EVENT REFUNDS Member organizations are not required to refund players for tournaments affected by inclement weather. Per MAS regulations, in the event of inclement weather a tournament may utilize a shortened format in order to play the tournament to completion. If the tournament cannot be played, it is the MAS recommendation that players be offered a credit to a future tournament hosted by the same organization. However, this is only a recommendation and not a policy. Each member organizations shall post their refund policy on the tournament homepage.

Due to ongoing challenges associated with Covid 19 every tournament is being reviewed to verify that all recommended safety protocols can be met. There may be situations where a previously posted event may need to modify draw sizes, formats, or divisions to ensure safety for all participants. In the event of a change notification of such changes shall be posted on the registration page for the event impacted and all registrants will be notified by email. Please verify that you are providing up to date contact information when registering so that you receive all updates.
**A player who has been exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19 in the time between player selection and the first scheduled match, may request a refund or credit up to 50% of the entry fee not including Tennislink Fee. The request must be in writing, at least 12 hours in advance of the first scheduled match and must include specific reference to a confirmed exposure or diagnosis.

10U Youth Progression Information This event includes 10U Youth Progression divisions. The 10U Youth Progression is an earned advancement system where kids get virtual Stars for participation and virtual Trophies for finishing 1st or 2nd in a tournament. PLAY TO COMPLETION As per MAS Regulations if a player does not intend to play a match, the player must notify the tournament director within one (1) hour of the end of the previous match of his/her intention not to play. Failure to do so will result in a Default/no show code for the match; five (5) penalty points on a player’s record; loss of points for the tournament; and the event will not count toward the player’s Endorsement List eligibility. TWO (2) PENALTY POINTS will be assessed to players who do not play any/all scheduled matches.

Effective October 1, 2019 - Players should have a standing of at least 250 on the current MAS Standing List to compete in an L5 or L6! This is a recommendation not a requirement.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, October 29, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
