TOURNAMENT DESK PRO
Dear Players and Parents, here are a few tips to make all of our lives easier during the tournament:1. Players, please don't check in for your match and then go warm-up or go to the bathroom. Do those things BEFORE you check in. When you check in, you are saying that you are ready to go on at that moment and play your match. Also, when you check in, STAY BY THE TOURNAMENT DESK. Do not wander off as we will have to come looking for you and you may be on the clock while we do.2. Parents, please don't ask which court your child will be playing on. The tournament desk staff won't know the answer to that question until the court becomes available. If your child's match is part of the first set of matches that will go on in the morning, we will know the answer to that question as the courts are pre-assigned. This is the only time during tournament play when that's the case. The rest of the time court availability is dependent on when the next court opens up and which pair of opponents has checked in first.3. Players, please do not ask who your next opponent will be. There are multiple matches going on at multiple facilities and until the results are recorded in the draw online, we won't know the answer to that question. Please check the draws online to determine who your next opponent will be.4. Parents, please do not request a specific court for your child's match. In some cases where siblings are playing at the same time at the same location, we may be able to accommodate this type of request. Otherwise, matches go on in the order of check-in as the courts become available.5. Lastly, please remember that the umpires, tournament desk staff and volunteers are human. We make mistakes from time to time and when we do, or when an issue arises, please use courtesy and respect when bringing that issue to our attention. We will respond to it to the best of our ability.
