Courts 5-12 will available 10:00-10:30AM on Saturday, then courts 1 & 2 from 10:30AM - 6PM

Some consolation matches may be able to be moved earlier depending on results in the main draw. We may be able to hold some matches earlier than posted depending on results from Saturday, especially for draws that were first match loser's consolation. I had to schedule with rest time validations in mind for all possibilities.

This year will be the first year when our staff will be in matching uniforms for easy identification. My hope is that everyone will be polite and patient and with the desk staff, who are all unpaid volunteers giving their time to make this event happen. If you find yourself getting angry at a situation, please don't take it out on the staff. Ask yourself, how many hours do I volunteer to help at these events? If we had to pay our staff, this tournament would not be able to exist because it would not generate any funds for the club.

I want to especially thank my partner-in-crime, Ernie Blando, who has not only volunteered time to manage desk staff for every tournament I have directed in the past 6 years, but also volunteers countless hours coordinating Jr Team Tennis year after year, which nurtures and develops young players into the world of the junior competition and tournaments. This tournament would not be the same high caliber and receive so many compliments without his contribution. Please tell him "Thank you for making this a great event"

I was able to source the unique, high-quality, artsy figurine trophies again this year (no supply last year). These are the ones from the first 5 years, not the common column trophies I was forced to give out for 2nd place last year. I have not seen any other tournament in SoCal give out this type of trophy.

In an effort to provide better value, these events with small draws will include consolation matches. Thus, teams and players in these events are guaranteed two matches..

Westwood Sports will pick rackets up at 2PM and 6PM (if there is demand) for rapid response stringing on weekend days.of the tournament. If you faster turnaround is needed, the player can get priority "stringing while you wait" at the store.
