Players may sign up for doubles in a different age division than the division they signed up for in singles.
Example: Singles age division 16 and Doubles age division 14
PLEASE NOTE: players playing different age divisions will have to travel to different sites to play doubles

(INCLUDES PARENTS, COACHES, RELATIVES, FRIENDS, ETC.)In an effort to promote a more enjoyable and fair experience for all, the following policy is in immediate force and effect, and will diligently and stringently enforced. USTA Southern California (SCTA) has implemented a "ZERO TOLERANCE" policy on improper behavior.1. Any attempt by a spectator to speak to an official regarding a line call or other ruling during match play will be cause for immediate removal from the playing area and, if warranted, from the premises.
2. Any spectator behavior deemed unacceptable towards a player, other spectator or staff member will be cause for immediate removal from the playing area or the entire premises. If said behavior is directed towards a player, either before, during or after a tournament, it will result in AN AUTOMATIC AND IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION OF THAT SPECTATOR'S RIGHT TO ATTEND USTA SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GRIEVANCE AND SPORTSMANSHIP COMMITTEE.
3. Refusal to adhere to removal request will trigger immediate enforcement of the point penalty system against the player with whom the spectator is involved (per point penalty system regulations), including possible immediate default.
4. The On-Site Official is the SOLE judge regarding unacceptable behavior.
Umpire/Spectator communication, whether it be about a ruling or any other facet of a tennis event is prohibited while a match is in progress. Being a parent, coach, etc. does not endow special privileges. With the only exception of the right to move their own child from competition at any time, a parent or coach is merely a spectator.

THE JP YAMASAKI / ORANGE COUNTY TOURNAMENT IS A LEVEL 2 TOURNAMENT FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND IT IS ALSO A LEVEL 4 NATIONAL TOURNAMENT. BY PLAYING THIS TOURNAMENT YOU HAVE A OPPORTUNITY TO EARN SINGLES AND /OR DOUBLES POINTS BOTH SECTIONAL AND NATIONAL

THIS TOURNAMENT HAS A OFFICIAL FOR EVERY 4 COURTS DURING THE TOURNAMENT
CHAIR UMPIRES FOR ALL FINALS . SINGLES AND DOUBLES

We will be using Pro-Penn balls. . No animals are allowed in the club unless it's a service animal with proper documentation.

8 GAME PRO SET, TB AT 7-ALL; 7 POINT TB, UNTIL SEMI'S AND FINALS.
DOUBLES SEMI'S AND FINALS FORMAT: 2 SETS AND A 10-POINT MATCH TB.

A MATCH TB FOR THE 3rd SET THROUGH THE QUARTER FINALS FOR THE BOYS AND GIRLS 14 & 16 & 18 DIVISIONS (STARTING IN THE QUARTER FINALS A FULL 3rd SET.) AND THROUGH THE SEMI'S FOR BOYS AND GIRLS 12 DIVISIONS. (STARTING IN THE SEMI FINALS A FULL 3rd SET.)

This tournament is a fundraiser for junior programs in the City of Anaheim. These programs consist of Scholarships for lessons, Tennis balls and racquets for Junior High and High School programs ,providing instruction for the After School program in Anaheim and providing court time to Anaheim kids.. This is my 33 rd year of Directing the OC /JP and I'm very proud of how we give back to our community.
