All Matches Recorded
All matches will be recorded in HD. The recordings, in flash drive format will be available for purchase by tournament competitors at a moderate cost. This is a great service which can be used as a developmental tool to move your game ahead or simply as a historical archive of your matches. Before or after your match stop by the pro shop at Lakewood Tennis Center to order yours - 562-496-3530. You can wait for your recording (about 15-30 minutes or you’re match video can be sent to you through your email within 2 days after ordering.

SELECTION LIST
The selection list is now posted. If you see your name on the competitors list, that means you have been selected to play. All other players will appear on the "Alternates By Event" link. The alternate list will be updated every time a player drops out.
If you are entered in another tournament the weekend of October 19-20, you MUST withdraw from one or the other BEFORE entries close.
****REMEMBER, if you make it past the first weekend of a tournament starting this weekend (includes singles & doubles), you MUST withdraw from the Solinco Masters by Sunday evening. This includes any matches that get postponed to the second weekend due to rain, fire, or any other issues. Players may not withdraw from the prior weekend's tournament to play in Solinco. Failure to comply will result in 5 suspension points plus loss of ranking points from both tournaments (if applicable).
We will continue to add players to divisions with less than 8 players until draws are posted. Once draws are posted, new players will not be added except in the event that a player pulls out.

ALTERNATES
If you are an alternate and enter in another event the same weekend as this event, you will need to contact Martha to remove yourself from the alternate list. Players may NOT withdraw from another event to play in this one or play in both events at once. Failure to comply will result in 5 suspension points plus loss of ranking points from both tournaments (if applicable).

WITHDRAWING??
If you need to withdraw, please contact Martha at (310) 208-3838 x 238 or MarthaK@scta.usta.com ASAP as there are several alternates in almost every division.
Alternates, please note that if you would have been seeded, you will only get in if a seed withdraws (once draws are posted).

WELCOME
Welcome to the 39th Annual SCTA Solinco Grand Prix Masters Championships. The Solinco Grand Prix is a series of junior open tournaments throughout the Southern California section held June-August. The Masters event features the top eight point earners in these tournaments to determine the overall Grand Prix champion. Please click on the link for the complete schedule.

DOUBLE ENTRIES
Players are not permitted to play in this tournament and another concurrent tournament.
In addition, if you have entered into any other event and make it past the first weekend (SINGLES OR DOUBLES, NO EXCEPTIONS) you MUST withdraw from the Masters by contacting Martha by Sunday evening October 15th. Provided you contact us, you will not receive any penalty for withdrawing from the Masters. THIS INCLUDES ANY POSTPONED MATCHES FROM THE PREVIOUS WEEKEND!! We are not giving permission for players to play in overlapping events. You may not withdraw from the previous weekend's event to play in the Masters. Players who violate this rule will be assessed suspension points as well as lose ALL their ranking points from BOTH events.

MATCH FORMATS
All main draw matches will play the best of three (3) tie-break sets. All consolation matches will play the best of three (3) tie-break sets, with a Deciding Match Tie-Break (first to 10) played in lieu of a third set. All matches will be played with regular scoring. Please note the 10's match formats below. Match formats and times may be altered at the discretion of the Referee for a cogent reason.
The Boys and Girls 10 singles will be played with the
"green" ball on a regular sized 78' court. All matches (including the
finals) will play a “Deciding Match Tie-Break” (first to 10) in lieu of a third
set.

SCTA POINTS PER ROUND
For SCTA points-per-round ranking purposes, this event is
considered a SCTA Level 3 tournament. You are guaranteed two matches in this tournament (assuming
full draws). All matches in the Masters will be counted towards SCTA
ranking. If you do not plan on playing the consolation event, please do not
enter.

LATENESS
The USTA Lateness Penalty will be enforced.

This tournament is by invitation only. Players accumulate points
based on summer tournament results. All prospective players will be
mailed invitations by September 11th. If you have not received an
invitation by this date and feel you should have, please contact
Martha the SCTA.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is by invitation only. Only USTA members can register online if available.
