On behalf of the Northwest Louisiana tennis community, I'd like to welcome you to the Louisiana State Closed Junior Qualifying Tournament Homepage. This is the most prestigious junior tennis tournament in Louisiana and we, here in Shreveport/Bossier, are honored that we have been given the opportunity to host this years event. Singles Main draws (14s-18s) will play the best two out of three tie-break sets with Regular Scoring.
The 12s divisions will use a Match Tiebreaker(10 point) in lieu of a third set.

All consolation divisions will play a Match Tiebreaker(10 point) in lieu of the third set.

The required scoring format, for 10's singles matches, shall be two out of three short sets (first to four (4) and win by two), No-Ad, with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7), win by two) at 4 all in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7), win by two) in lieu of the third set.

Doubles for 12s-18s will be a six(6) game set, Regular Scoring, with a Set Tiebreaker(7 point, win by two) at 6 games all.
Doubles for 10s will be a six(6) game set, No-Ad, with a set tiebreaker(7 point, win by two) at 6 games all.

*Short scoring may be used in the Main Draw to catch up after weather delays.

No refunds after registration is closed.
If you withdraw before registration closes, your credit card will not be charged.
If you withdraw after registration closes, there are No Refunds.

Withdrawal Prior to Entry Deadline:
Go to the Tournament website and click "Withdraw" in the "EDIT REGISTRATION" box on the right side of your screen. From there you can withdraw. If you do not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate Confirmation" just below "Withdraw." We cannot withdraw you, you must do this yourself. You will lose the entry fee if you do not withdraw online before registration closes.
Withdrawal After Entry Deadline:
Immediately contact the tournament director to withdraw from the tournament. You must fax or email your withdrawal. DO NOT call to withdraw. The email is ENTER EMAIL and the fax is ENTER NUMBER. If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament. There are No refunds if withdrawing after registration closes.
Defaulting during the tournament:
You must see the trainer and get approval from the Head Referee. Do not tell just anyone at the desk and think you have properly defaulted. Unless you speak to the Head Referee in person, it will count as a "No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE! If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament OR a visit with the onsite trainer will suffice.

The list below indicates the Facility Behavior Rules:
* No use of the word "suck" or any form of the word spoken or spelled.
* No use of expressions of frustrations with references to deities (i.e. "Oh My God", "Jesus", "Jesus Christ", "Christ", "God") either spoken or spelled.
* No use of "freaking", "frigging", or "fricking" or variations of such words either spoken or spelled.
* No Smoking anywhere on the premises. Premises includes parking lots, bathrooms, and anywhere within 30 feet of a tennis court.
Verbal rules apply to any language. We have officials on sight who are fluent in many languages.
Anyone found in violation of these rules may be subject to a Code Violation and receive suspension points

PARENTS, COACHES AND PLAYERS READ THIS!!!!
Per Friend At Court, it is the Winner's responsibility to report the score. This means the tournament desk will only accept reporting from the Winner. If you are the loser of a match and you are concerned the score may not be reported correctly; you should accompany the winner to the desk to report the score. If there is a dispute, the players can take that moment to talk it out while it is fresh in their minds and agree on a score for the winner to report to the desk. We will not "track down games" for the loser days or even hours after a match. Too much time has lapsed to try to get the winner to remember the score the way the loser wants it remembered.

FOR THE BOYS:
Any T-shirts worn must be plain or tennis related
No underwear should be visible above waist band or below hemline
Shirts must be worn at all times
Shorts must be worn appropriately above pelvic bones
Sleeveless shirts are acceptable if made that way - no cutoffs
FOR THE GIRLS:
Any T-shirts must be plain or tennis related
Compression shorts must be fully covered with a skirt or dress. Also known as "shorties" or "booty shorts" are not allowed to be worn without being covered
Skirts and shorts must be worn appropriately above the pelvic bones
The bottom of your Shirt must touch the top of your Skirt or Short while standing upright-shoulders back; this means do not roll down your skirts or shorts. Trust us when we tell you that your equipment (skirt or short) is not working properly during play when rolled down
