We will use UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) for seeding. (10 & Under will use the SCTA ranking list also)

Recording of your Tennis Match!!!
All matches played at Lakewood & El Dorado Park Tennis Centers will be recorded in HD.
The recordings, delivered by email for purchase by
tournament competitors at a moderate cost. ($25.00) This is a great service which
can be used as a developmental tool to move your game ahead or simply
as a historical archive of your matches. Check in at the Pro Shop (or Video table) to
find out how to order yours. If you think you would like your match recorded, please email me so I can schedule your match at Lakewood or El Dorado Park Tennis Center.

MATCH FORMAT
ALL MATCHES WILL PLAY A BEST OF 2 SETS REGULAR SCORING, TIE BREAK AT 6 GAMES ALL. IF YOU SPLIT SETS YOU WILL PLAY A "MATCH TIE BREAK UP TO 10" IN LIEU OF A THIRD SET. (The Finals of the level for ages 14-18 will play a full best of 3 sets)

HITTING LESSONS AVAILABLE
One of our teaching pro's is available for hitting lessons. it's
$60.00 per hour & $40.00 for half hour. Call 562-355-2545 and ask

Late Penalties
Late penalties strictly enforced. If you are 1 minute late you lose 1 game and the toss, 6 minutes = 2 games & toss, 11 minutes = 3 games & toss. After 15 minutes= default (Tournament Director has the option of holding a match in case of emergency IE: player called and is informing of lateness or other issues) Even if your match is held by the tournament director so you are not defaulted, you still will be accessed a maximum of 3 games & toss.

10 & Under Divisions
All 10 & Under matches will be played with the “Green” Ball (or Green Dot Ball) on a standard sized 78’ court. There is no racquet restriction with this ball.

BALLS
THIS TOURNAMENT WILL USE the Wilson Regular Duty Ball.

Dress Code
The Lakewood Tournament and all officials of this event
would like to inform the players of our expectations of proper attire while
competing in this tournament.
GIRLS: No sports bras or compression shorts are to be worn alone; midriff must
be covered when arms are at rest, and spandex shorts must be covered by
additional shorts or skirt.
BOYS: No cut off t-shirts, or cut off shorts. Sleeveless tennis shirts may be
worn. No reference to drugs, violence, alcohol, or foul language may be
depicted on player attire.

For Southern California ranking, this is a Level 4 event. If you
have a time conflict, you must let the director know before draws
are made. Refunds only given to players who withdraw at least seven
days prior to tournament start date. Probable sites include
Lakewood Tennis Center & El Dorado Park.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, December 3, 2019 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
