very limited access to telephone no.'s now. .

sets,no-ad scoring, 7 pt. tie-breaker at 6 all in the first two
sets, a super tie-breaker in lieu of a third six game set.

Score Tennis Academy, 6550 Joliet Rd., Countryside, IL

We do not email or call you for your start times-you must check
the website for your start times.
All matches will be played at Spring Rock Park, 4400 Central,
Western Springs, IL and check in at the East courts by the water
tower and USTA Pro Circuit canopy 1/2 way down the hill along the
south side of the railroad tracks..
Please report to Spring Rock first 15 minutes before your match,
unless it is raining on Friday in Western Springs, go directly to
Score Tennis Academy.
Due to large sized draws and limited courts, be prepared to play 3
matches on Saturday.
A few matches may go into early Saturday evening. We do have 7
lighted courts for Friday and early Saturday evening matches.
Remember to arrive 15 min before your match. If you are running
late please contact us however the USTA point penalty system is
still in effect. Please remember to honor your commitment of
finishing both main draw and back draw tournaments.
We cannot honor any requests to change start times once draws
are posted.
Trophies will be presented to all main draw and back draw
finalists.
Draws will be posted by 1 p.m. on Thursday.
The tournament includes a first match consolation
tournament.

We cannot make any changes after the draws are posted.
All results count towards a 2019 Chicago District and Midwest
Section ranking. This is a level 4 challenger USTA sanctioned
tournament. Directions: From North Suburbs-Take 294 South and exit
Ogden Ave. (Rt. 34) East and Go 1 mile to Wolf Rd. Take a right on
Wolf Rd. going south 1 mile and cross the railroad tracks in
downtown Western Springs and immediately take a sharp right onto
Burlington going West. Go 6 blocks while on Burlington and then you
approach Spring Rock Park (nearly 50 acre park). Go straight to
the 3 East courts half way down the hill to check in.
From South suburbs-take 294 North and exit Ogden Ave. (Rt. 34) East
(same directions as before)
Matches begin as early as 12:30 pm on Friday at Spring Rock
Park, 4400 Central, Western Springs, IL Some matches with people
living in the city, out-of-state, far north shore may start as late
as 7:00 or 7:30 p.m. We have lights. If you are unable to play
until 5:30 p.m. or 7 or 7:30 p.m. due to Friday work, please email
me at daveevanstennis@gmail.com. We should be able to honor all
requests provided they are emailed me before Tue. @ 11:59
p.m.
(Directions call 708-246-9070 Ext. 5) and may run into early
evening as the courts are lighted. Please do not schedule other
activities during the tournament. Saturday morning matches
begin as early as 9 .m. Due to court limitations, we cannot make
any adjustments.
DO NOT SCHEDULE OTHER ACITIVITIES DURING THE TOURNAMENT! Matches
will go on as scheduled following a possible rain delay.
BE PREPARED TO HAVE YOUR ENTIRE SCHEDULE OPEN TO PLAY MATCHES WHEN
THEY ARE SCHEDULED. USTA POINT PENALTY SYSTEM FOR LATENESS FOR A
MATCH WILL BE IN EFFECT: Penalty: 5 minutes or less: Loss of toss
plus 1 game 5.01-10 min.: Loss of toss plus 2 games 10:01-15 min.:
Loss of toss plus 3 games 15 min.+ Defualt Players should report 30
minutes in advance of their first match, and thereafter a minimum
of 15 minutes before their remaining matches. Lateness only delays
the rest of the tournament for others
