KY CC Closed-Match Format -
-14 & Over-Main Draw Singles: Best of
three tie-break sets. All divisions shall receive 10 minute break where
coaching is allowed between 2nd and 3rd sets.
Consolation Singles: 10 pt tiebreak in lieu of 3rd set. (3 min rest
between 2nd and 3rd set)
Doubles Matches: 8-game pro sets.
-12 & Under Match Format -Main Draw and Consolation -10 pt tiebreak in lieu of 3rd set set. (3 min rest between 2nd and 3rd set)

Singles: Best of two short sets (first to four (4) and win by two),
with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at 4-4 in each
set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) for the
third set. Doubles: Six (6) game set, with a set tiebreak (first to
seven (7) and win by two) at 6-6. Ad-Scoring

Location Info:
--This is an outdoor tournament so be sure to bring sunscreen and sports drinks for your player(s).
--10 & Under matches will be played at LTC on hardcourt outside (weather permitting)
-Blairwood Tennis Club may be used as an alternate site if needed
-Rain may take us inside to hardcourt play.
-Players need to remain in the check-in area once they have checked-in.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time ready to play!

-Draws may split at 16 in every division

Singles Draw Formats:
If a singles draw has 5-7 players, it will be a Feed-In Consolation Draw through the Semifinals. Singles draws of 8 or more will be Feed-In Consolation through the Quarterfinals.

Event Format
In order to hold to a 2-match guarantee, if a draw has 7 or less players, the draw will be a Feed-In Consolation Draw through the semifinals, a playoff for top four or a round-robin.
|
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, August 25, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
