WEATHER UPDATES
All weather updates will be listed here. I will put a time/date stamp on all messages so you know when the last update was. We will do the best I can to play as many matches as possible, weather permitting. Thank you for your patience.
10/20/19- 10:06 AM- Due to the current court conditions and being respectful of not putting you on hold all day, we have decided to cancel the remaining matches. The clay courts are completely washed out and will not be playable today. We would struggle to get 10 hard courts playable in a decent time to start match play even by 1 or 2 pm. I apologize for not being able to play the remaining matches, but the rain and overcast skies had a different plan for today. Thanks again for playing our tournament, we hope to see you for both days next year. 10/20/19- 7:57 AM- All courts are still too wet for play. We are going to do one more 2 hour delay with the attempt to start play at Noon. As a result of reduced court time, we unfortunately will need to cancel the remaining consolation matches in an attempt to get the main draw finished. We will also move to short sets with regular scoring for all remaining new matches. If I find we cannot start at least some matches by Noon, I will release you and we will have to cancel the rest of the tournament. I feel lucky that we got as much as we could in yesterday and appreciate all of your patience and effort to help us do that. I will update again at 10:00 am. 10/20/19- 6:00 AM- All courts are currently too wet for play. I am pushing back on a 2 hour delay from the match times listed online. I will NOT be updating times, so add 2 hours to the ones listed. Any matches currently in play will start at 10:00 am. I will update again by 8:00 am this morning. Thank you for your patience. 10/19/19-8:00 PM- All courts are rained out. Any matches in current play will start at the same location at 8:00 am. If weather pushes us back in the morning, I will post an update by 6:00 am on 10/20/19. Thank you for working with us today in the sprinkles. See you on Sunday.
