Charlotte Indoor Tennis Club Holiday Juniors Tournament L4

The players have been selected in accordance with the latest NC rankings as published on 11/30/2019.

Play will begin at 4:00 PM on Friday, 12/20 and continue each day at 8:00 AM. Completion is scheduled for Monday evening, 12/23.
Be prepared to play at any time during the event.

Requests following the draw post may involve many players and cannot be accommodated.
For the first round, we will make every attempt to honor requests. Future round requests will also be considered, but cannot be guaranteed.

Each draw will be limited to 16 players.
Entries will not be accepted beyond the deadline of Dec 15th at 11:59 PM.

Singles
Main draw and consolation will play the best of 3 sets, playing a 10-pt match tiebreak in lieu of
the 3rd set.
Doubles
8 game pro set

Our referee will be available throughout the weekend to answer questions and to enforce the rules, but we DO NOT supply line judges for matches. Matches going to tie-breakers will be expected to play according to “The Code” as all other games played. Parents/Coaches are expected to conduct themselves also in accordance to “The Code” to ensure fair play. Players are expected to make their own calls in accordance with the procedures outlined in "The Code" in Friend at Court.

It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know their next match time and show up in a timely manner. Check the website often for updated match times. IT IS RECCOMMENDED THAT EACH PLAYER CHECK IN FOR EACH MATCH 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO ITS SCHEDULED START TIME. ALL USTA RULES WILL BE ENFORCED FOR LATENESS.

If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online. Click on "Edit Registration," then "Withdraw." You will need your original confirmation number. All withdrawals after "Entries Close" must be sent via email to the Tournament Director at harrybbell@yahoo.com. Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.
Per Friend at Court, USTA Regulation IV.C (Standards of Conduct), RE: Withdrawal/Default/No-Shows: It is up to the player/parent to notify the Tournament Director in writing via email/text, and in a timely manner, if a player will need to withdrawal from their respective event(s. It is at the Tournament Director/Referee’s discretion to determine whether the withdrawal is recorded as a default with penalty. It is the expectation that all player’s entered this tournament will complete all scheduled rounds of play.

In order to truly enjoy the sport of tennis, it is essential to display good sportsmanship which includes abiding by the rules, playing fair, and showing respect for your opponent. We expect that ALL players who compete this weekend abide by guidelines set forth by "THE CODE". No player will be allowed to compete in the tournament unless this form is filled out. Please download your copy, complete, and turn in prior to first match to the tournament desk.

Player shall not enter two tournaments at same time. When entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments, if any part of the tournaments overlap unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation and concurs in writing. After a player has been eliminated from a tournament whose schedule of play partially overlaps with that of a second tournament, the player may enter the second tournament .Per Friend at Court, USTA REGULATIONS IV.C.
