Tournament Information
The Haddon Field Club Junior Classic will utilize a compass draw
or round-robin draw for each singles division, depending on the number of
entrants in a division. If a division
has 4 or fewer players, a round robin will be held. The goal is that each participant will
play at least 3 matches. The format for singles matches will be
2 out of 3 short sets with no-ad scoring and a 10-point match tiebreak for the third set. However, if there are only 5 or 6
players in a compass draw, the match format will change to full sets with no-ad scoring and a 10-point match tiebreak for the third set.
For each doubles division a
single-elimination draw will be used.
The format for doubles matches will be 8-game pro sets with no-ad
scoring and a 7-point tiebreak at 8-8.
