10U Divisions
Louisiana sanctioned tournaments will only be offering Orange Level 1 and Green Level 1 for 10 and under age divisions. All 10U players in Louisiana will begin the Youth Progression Pathway in the Orange 1 division and bypass Orange L2. TENNIS CLOTHING RULES
90% WHITE TENNIS ATTIRE MUST BE WORN BY ALL PLAYERS. 10% COLOR TRIM PER ARTICLE OF CLOTHING IS PERMITTED. THIS APPLIES TO HATS VISORS, WRISTBANDS, SOCKS, ETC. SLEEVELESS SHIRTS FOR BOYS ARE NOT PERMITTED. SHOES MAY BE ANY COLOR BUT MUST HAVE CLAY COURT SOLES. CLOTHING RULE APPLIES TO PRACTICE COURTS ALSO. THANK YOU!

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
Parents, please be reminded that junior players must have their Medical Release Form completely filled out and signed by a parent or guardian at Registration before the players first match. This form is available by clicking "more info"or at www.louisianatennis.com and clicking on the 'Juniors' page. This must be in our hands before the player can step on the court for their first match. Thank you!

BOYS & GIRLS 10 & UNDER DIVISIONS
BOYS & GIRLS 10 & UNDER ORANGE BALL DIVISION MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED ON OUR HARD COURTS ON THE 60 FOOT COURT WITH ORANGE BALLS. SCORING WILL BE TWO OUT OF THREE SETS WITH NO AD SCORING. THE FIRST TO 4 GAMES WINS A SET AND MUST WIN BY 2 GAMES. IF THE SCORE IS 4 ALL A 7 POINT TIEBREAKER WILL BE PLAYED. IF PLAYERS SPLIT SETS A SET (7 POINT) TIEBREAK WILL BE PLAYED IN LIEU OF A THIRD SET. Rackets used in 10 and under ORANGE BALL matches may not be any longer than 25 inches long! GREEN DOT BALL DIVISION WILL PLAY ON THE CLAY COURTS ALSO WITH SHORT SET SCORING.

ALL SINGLES MATCHES MAIN DRAW AND CONSOLATION WILL BE 2 OUT OF 3 SETS WITH A TIE BREAK IN ANY SET AT 6 ALL AND A TEN POINT MATCH TIEBREAK PLAYED IN LIEU OF A THIRD SET.. CONSOLATION DRAWS WILL BE A MODIFIED FEED IN WITH THE FIRST TWO ROUNDS OF THE MAIN DRAW FEEDING INTO THE CONSOLATION. ALL DOUBLES MATCHES WILL PLAY AN 8 GAME PRO SET WITH A 10 POINT TIE BREAK PLAYED AT 8 ALL. ** WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE SCORING AS NECESSARY IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER.**

"All players must have a Birth Certificate on file in the STA office for proof of US Citizenship. Green cards will be accepted. Passports are not accepted. A report of those with proof on file can be found at the STA website."

NEW RULES
1- After splitting sets and playing a tiebreak in lieu of the third set, there now will be a three minute rest period with coaching allowed before the tie break.
2- There will now be a mandatory ten minute break for the 18 and under divisions as well as all other divisions.
3- If a player reverses his/her out call, he/she will lose the point now.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, June 30, 2019 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
