Louisiana sanctioned tournaments will only be offering Orange Level 1 and Green Level 1 for 10 and under age divisions. All 10U players in Louisiana will begin the Youth Progression Pathway in the Orange 1 division and bypass Orange L2. CHECK-IN
Tournament Check-in will be available at 5:00
pm Friday 8/16/19 at City Park Tennis Center.
Match Check-in will be available at 5:00 pm Friday 8/16/19 through
Sunday 8/18 at City Park Tennis Center.
Arrive at your site 1 hour before your match time to
check-in.
DRESS CODE
Fort the Boys:
* Any T-shirts worn must be plain or
tennis related
* No underwear should be visible above waist band or below
hemline
* Shirts must be worn at all times
* Shorts must be worn appropriately above pelvic bones
* Sleeveless shirts are acceptable if made that way - no
cutoffs
For the Girls:
* Any T-shirts must be plain or tennis
related
* Compression shorts must be fully covered with a skirt or dress.
Also known as "shorties" or "booty shorts" are not allowed to be
worn without being covered
* Skirts and shorts must be worn appropriately above the pelvic
bones
* The bottom of your Shirt must touch the top of your Skirt or
Short while standing upright-shoulders back; this means do not roll
down your skirts or shorts. Trust us when we tell you that your
equipment (skirt or short) is not working properly during play when
rolled

DOUBLES
It is very important to check your doubles
status. You must register with a doubles partner. In Orange Level 1
and 2 Doubles, you will receive no stars or trophies. In Green
Level 1 Doubles, you will not receive stars or trophies but you
will receive Southern and Louisiana Standing points. Please check
the Competitors List to verify you have the correct Doubles Status:
--If you are showing correctly on the Competitors List, then you
have nothing else to do. --If you are showing as entered in doubles
and do not want to play, please email to have your name taken off.
--If you are not showing as entered in doubles and should be,
please email to have your name added. --If you have a partner and
it is not showing, please email your partners name. --If you do not
have a partner and want to be randomly paired, please email that it
is ok to randomly pair you if you have not done so already.
FACILITY RULES
- Tennis etiquette, as set forth in the
USTA rules or USTA publication Friend at Court shall prevail at all
times
- Everyone must wear appropriate tennis shoes to enter the courts.
No one may enter the courts unless he/she is wearing rubber sole
shoes.
- Appropriate language is required at all times. Foul language is
prohibited .
- Animals, with the exception of service animals are
prohibited.
- Sitting, pushing and pulling on tennis nets and fences is
prohibited.
- Place trash in designated trash receptacles located outside of
court areas.
FORMAT OF PLAY
All Singles draws (12-18) will play the
best two out of three tie-break sets with a Match tie-break in lieu
of the third set. The required scoring format, for 10's singles
matches, shall be the best of two short sets (first to four (4) and
win by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by
two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and
win by two) in lieu of the third set. *Short scoring may be used in
the Main Draw to catch up after weather delays.

Ask for Special Tennis Tournament Rate from the following
Tournament Hotels. Please try to stay at a Tournament Hotel as
these hotels support the tournaments which enable us to provide
more for the participants
LATE ENTRIES
WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT LATE ENTRIES IF THERE
ARE LESS THAN 10 ALTERNATES OR NONE AT ALL, ON A FIRST COME, FIRST
SERVE BASIS. LATE ENTRIES WILL GO BELOW ALL OTHER ALTERNATES IN THE
ORDER RECEIVED, REGARDLESS OF RANKING. A LATE ENTRY WILL NOT BE
ACCEPTED IF THE SEEDS WOULD BE AFFECTED. EMAIL IS THE ONLY WAY TO
COMMUNICATE FOR LATE ENTRIES SO WE CAN ESTABLISH THE TIME RECEIVED.
PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT A RESPONSE TO A LATE ENTRY REQUEST BEFORE
ENTER DATE SHOULD A LATE ENTRY BE OFFERED A SPOT, A $15.00 LATE
FEE WILL BE CHARGED IN ADDITION TO THE ENTRY FEE.
MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
USTA requires a medical release
SIGNED BY THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN for every player. This form must
be presented at the time of the tournament registration. Please
download and bring this completed form with you, to speed up the
registration process. Players are not allowed on court without this

POINTS PER ROUND

REFUNDS
No refunds after registration is closed. If
you withdraw before registration closes, your credit card will not
be charged. If you withdraw after registration closes, there are No
Refunds.

We will use City Park Tennis Center for warm ups
and play.

10 & UNDER YPP
All 10& Under Players that are
wanting to play in a different division than your rankings allow,
you will need to send an email stating what level you are wanting
to enter. If you are a Louisiana player please send an email to
Megan Preusch at ltajrtennis@louisianatennis.com requesting to
appeal by Monday morning. If you are with another state please
contact your local Junior Director. 10u Court, Racquet, and Balls
Boys and Girls 10s Green Level 1 will play on the 78 foot court
using Green Low Compression Balls. The racquet size is up to 29".
Boys and Girls 10s Orange Level 1 and 2 will play on the 60 foot
court using Orange Low Compression balls. The racquet size is up to
25". The required scoring format for 10s singles matches, shall be
the best of two short sets - Ad Scoring (first to four (4) and win
by two), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two) at
4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by

WITHDRAWS
Withdrawal Prior to Entry Deadline: Go to the Tournament
website and click "Withdraw" in the "EDIT REGISTRATION" box on the
right side of your screen. From there you can withdraw. If you do
not know your Confirmation #, then click "Locate Confirmation" just
below "Withdraw." We cannot withdraw you, you must do this
yourself. You will lose the entry fee if you do not withdraw online
before registration closes. Withdrawal After Entry Deadline:
Immediately contact the tournament director to withdraw from the
tournament. You must fax or email your withdrawal. DO NOT call to
withdraw. The email is ENTER EMAIL and the fax is ENTER NUMBER. If
the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the
player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness
from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of
the tournament. There are No refunds if withdrawing after
registration closes. Defaulting during the tournament: You
must see the trainer and get approval from the Head Referee. Do not
tell just anyone at the desk and think you have properly defaulted.
Unless you speak to the Head Referee in person, it will count as a
"No Show." WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE! If
the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the
player shall provide written verification of the injury or illness
from a medical professional no later than the last scheduled day of
the tournament OR a visit with the onsite trainer will
suffice.
Player Selection TypeNo Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, August 12, 2019 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
