Contact Info: Please note we use the contact info you
provided TennisLink. Some of the contact info in the database
connects us to defunct emails and non-working phone numbers. Please
check that your contact info is up-to-date so that we may reach you
if need be...especially should a 1st round match default and we are
attempting to reach you before you make a long drive.
We encourage you to use the new Communication Center
feature. As this event is Tournament Director Selection
Process, you will be given this option once we process player
registrations immediately after entries close. For information on
how to select this feature visit TennisLink:

11/28.
Please plan to check in 30 MINUTES PRIOR to your start time in
order to keep the tournament running smoothly and get everyone done
in a timely fashion. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!!
The event will begin with first round matches on Thursday, the 28th
as early as 8 a.m. and ending by approximately 4 p.m. - no match
will be scheduled past a 2:30 p.m. start. There is a possibility
that players may play up to 3 matches in the day.
SCORING: 2 out of 3 regular scoring sets with a 10 point
match tie-breaker in lieu of the 3rd.
Trophies: awards for Champion and Finalist.
T-shirts and goodie bags for all participants.
In order for an event to run as a regular draw we need a minimum of
4 entrants (3 players will allow us to run a round robin).
Please read through this homepage before signing up for the
tournament as many questions are addressed here.
GET SIGNED UP/WHY WAIT?:
Please do not "wait" for other players to sign up. This is
something that circles back and then few people sign up until the
last minute. If you are free and want to play...sign up. Other
"waiting" people will see names and then sign up too and
Tah-Dah...we have a nice draw with healthy competition for
all!
FIRST MATCH START TIMES:
Once the draws are posted, please click to find your times there.
We do not email or call participants to tell them times. It is the
player's responsibility to find that on the tournament home
page.

WITHDRAWALS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM:
If you need to withdraw while registration is still open, please go
to the tournament homepage and in the left margin click on "Edit
Registration" and proceed to withdraw. No reason is necessary while
the registration is still open. If registration has closed and the
tournament has not yet begun, please email/call the Tournament
Director at the club (info@napervilletennis.com) and list the
reason for your withdrawal. If the tournament has started, please
call the club and speak directly with the Tournament Director.
Remember, when withdrawing from a USTA tournament once the
selections have been made, the only reasons that are accepted by
the USTA Referee without incurring FIVE (5) suspension points are
injury, illness, or a family emergency.
REFUNDS:
NO REFUNDS once player selections have been made at the close of
the entry deadline.
SIGNING UP FOR TWO EVENTS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT
SYSTEM:
The USTA/Midwest Section Suspension Point System is in effect. You
are expected to play the entire event as scheduled. All players
will be given FIVE (5) suspension points for entering two or more
tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part,
unless each Tournament Director involved agrees with the multiple
entries in writing via email. The applies to all players who signed
up for the tournament including alternates.
USTA CONTACT INFORMATION:
Procedure for tournament registration: because of Privacy Laws,
your contact information from USTA membership does not show up in
the Tournament Director's software anymore. Only what you indicate
during the registration process shows up. We have no way of
contacting you if you leave those fields blank when signing up.
This means, for example, if your opponent withdraws at the last
minute due to injury, illness, or a family emergency you might make
a trip to the tournament and not need to if we had a way of
reaching you. You must indicate all phone numbers, home and cell (a
MUST), email addresses and more for each USTA tournament
registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament
you enter, even if you have played a tournament with Naperville
before.
QUESTIONS?:
Please call/email Naperville Tennis Club (630)355-5600 or
info@napervilletennis.com. Make sure you reference the name of the
tournament, player's name, and age group as we do have a lot of
tournament overlap.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, November 25, 2019 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
