Notes
UPDATE AS OF 7/18 @ 11:45 AM: The draws are now posted for
the B10 Green, G10 Green, and B14 divisions so please check online
for your match times. For the B10 Orange and G10 Orange, the draws
will not be posted prior to the event. For the Orange Ball
Tournament, please be at the Naperville Tennis Club befor 6:00 PM
on Sunday as the tournament will start indoors at 6:00 PM. For the
Green Ball and Yellow Ball divisions, the tournament will start
Saturday morning outside at the Naperville North High School tennis
courts (in the event of rain we will move the tournament indoor to
NTC).
For the G10 Green Ball division, the tournament will be a round
robin (due to having 3 girls in the event) so please check for your
match times in each of the various rounds. For the B14s, if any
player reaching the Finals in either the Main Draw or Back Draw
would be playing their 4th match of the day, then that Final match
would be moved to Sunday at 9:00 AM. For the B14s Back Draw, there
are some QF matches listed for the same time as the SF matches. In
the event that the QF Back Draw match needs to be played, then the
times of the SF Back Draw and F Back Draw matches will be pushed
back accordingly. Please see the Tournament Director for any
questions regarding this.
For those players playing outside at Naperville North High School,
DO NOT USE THE MAP/DIRECTIONS FEATURE ON THE USTA APP as
this will direct you to the tennis club and not the outside courts,
which are located 3-4 miles away from the tennis club. Just have
your GPS take you to Naperville North High School and you will see
the tennis courts there.
If you have any questions, please contact Steve Haas at
630-660-1943. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at the
tournament!
If after reading through these notes you should have additional
questions, please contact Tournament Director, Steve Haas at
630-660-1943 or swh870@aol.com.
Any new 10U players may benefit from the USTA's free junior
membership (membership is required for this event). Call
1-800-990-8782 and use the code: FYFE.

The 11 up and 10 Green will be an OUTDOOR tournament (with
the Naperville Tennis Club only serving as an indoor backup in case
of bad weather). The tournament is taking place at NAPERVILLE NORTH
HIGH SCHOOL 899 N. Mill Street, Naperville IL 60563. Please plan to
arrive early so that you find the tennis courts on time and are
prepared to go on court when your match is called.
In the event of rain, the indoor backup courts will be at the
Naperville Tennis Club, 1011 East Benton Ave, Naperville, IL 60540.
(In the event of rain, we will post information here about moving
indoors to NTC).
For the 11 up and 10 Green, we are going to play up to
3 matches on Saturday, and depending on draw sizes, will finish on
Sunday. Smaller draws may be able to finish in one day, however, we
won't know until after scheduling and/or once play is in progress
if that is a possibility.
DO NOT USE THE MAPS FEATURE ON THE USTA MOBILE APP.... there
is no work-around for tournaments that are at different sites than
the member organization's address...meaning, your app will take you
to the tennis club...not our outdoor event site. We cannot turn off
or alter this feature which is why it is so important that you read
through the notes here.
All tourney participants will receive 2 free guest passes to use at
NTC's outdoor pool during the event (weather permitting). All
players will receive a tournament t-shirt; trophies for Champions
and Finalists.
Meredith Pollack will act as referee.
Please read through this homepage before signing up for the
tournament as many questions are addressed here.
GET SIGNED UP/WHY WAIT?:
Please do not "wait" for other players to sign up. This is
something that circles back and then few people sign up until the
last minute. If you are free and want to play...sign up. Other
"waiting" people will see names and then sign up too and
Tah-Dah...we have a nice draw with healthy competition for
all!
FIRST MATCH START TIMES:
Once the draws are posted, please click to find your times there.
We do not email or call participants to tell them times. It is the
player's responsibility to find that on the tournament home
page.
WITHDRAWALS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM:
If you need to withdraw while registration is still open, please go
to the tournament homepage and in the left margin click on "Edit
Registration" and proceed to withdraw. No reason is necessary while
the registration is still open. If registration has closed and the
tournament has not yet begun, please email/call the Tournament
Director at the club (info@napervilletennis.com) and list the
reason for your withdrawal. If the tournament has started, please
call the club and speak directly with the Tournament Director.
Remember, when withdrawing from a USTA tournament once the
selections have been made, the only reasons that are accepted by
the USTA Referee without incurring FIVE (5) suspension points are
injury, illness, or a family emergency.
REFUNDS:
NO REFUNDS once player selections have been made at the close of
the entry deadline.
SIGNING UP FOR TWO EVENTS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT

entries in writing via email. The applies to all players who signed
up for the tournament including alternates.
FORMAT for 11 up and 10 Green:
Regular scoring, 2 our of 3 sets with a 10 point tiebreaker in lieu

reaching you. You must indicate all phone numbers, home and cell (a
MUST), email addresses and more for each USTA tournament
registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament
you enter, even if you have played a tournament with Naperville
before.
