Notes
UPDATE AS OF 7/5 @ 10:30 AM: The draws have been posted for
the B12 and B16 divisions. Currently, the G12 and G14 divisions are
not running due to not having enough players - if any additional
girls want to play in those divisions, please contact Steve Haas at
630-660-1943. If we get additional girls in those divisions, I will
call the other G12 and G14 players to see if we can still run those
divisions.
For the B12 Front Draw, if a player reaching the finals
would be playing their 4th match of the day, then the final will be
moved to Sunday at 9:00 AM. For the B12 Back Draw, some
semi-finals and finals match times that are listed online may need
to be adjusted based on results of other matches being played
throughout the day. If a semi-final time gets adjusted to later in
the day on Saturday, then the final back draw will be moved to
Sunday at 9:00 AM. Please see the Tournament Director for further
information.
For the B16 Front Draw, if any player making the semi-finals
would be playing their 4th match of the day, then that semi-finals
would be moved to Sunday at 9:00 AM, and the corresponding front
draw final would be moved to Sunday at 11:30 AM. For the B16
Back Draw, some quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals match
times that are listed online may need to be adjusted based on
results of other matches throughout the day. Some quarter-final
back draw matches may be adjusted to later in the day on Saturday
and some semi-final back draw matches may be adjusted to later in
the day on Saturday or potentially Sunday morning. If a semi-final
back draw match gets adjusted to play on Sunday morning, then the
back draw final on Sunday will be pushed back as well. Please see
the Tournament Director for further information on this.

the Naperville Tennis Club, which is located 4-5 miles away from
Naperville North High School (you should only use this feature if
we end up moving indoors due to poor weather).

A note about the outdoor sites:
Please note that Naperville North High School's tennis courts only
have a port-a-potty near the court. There are many restaurants and
gas stations just east and west of Naperville North High School on
Ogden Avenue (the main east-west street running by the high school)
which can also be used. There is a McDonald's a little west of the
high school and a BP Gas Station a little east of the high school.
Nike Park does have restroom facilities near the courts Also,
please note that Ribfest will be taking place in Naperville during
this time so plan on extra time to get to the facility where you
will be playing your matches.
Please read through this homepage before signing up for the
tournament as many questions are addressed here.
GET SIGNED UP/WHY WAIT?:
Please do not "wait" for other players to sign up. This is
something that circles back and then few people sign up until the
last minute. If you are free and want to play...sign up. Other
"waiting" people will see names and then sign up too and
Tah-Dah...we have a nice draw with healthy competition for
all!

tournament (depending on the total number of player registrations).
This event must start in the a.m. in order to be a one-day-plus

WITHDRAWALS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM:
If you need to withdraw while registration is still open, please go
to the tournament homepage and in the left margin click on "Edit
Registration" and proceed to withdraw. No reason is necessary while
the registration is still open. If registration has closed and the
tournament has not yet begun, please email/call the Tournament
Director at the club (info@napervilletennis.com) and list the
reason for your withdrawal. If the tournament has started, please
call the club and speak directly with the Tournament Director.
Remember, when withdrawing from a USTA tournament once the
selections have been made, the only reasons that are accepted by
the USTA Referee without incurring FIVE (5) suspension points are
injury, illness, or a family emergency.
REFUNDS:
NO REFUNDS once player selections have been made at the close of
the entry deadline.
SIGNING UP FOR TWO EVENTS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT
SYSTEM:
The USTA/Midwest Section Suspension Point System is in effect. You
are expected to play the entire event as scheduled. All players
will be given FIVE (5) suspension points for entering two or more
tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part,
unless each Tournament Director involved agrees with the multiple
entries in writing via email. The applies to all players who signed
up for the tournament including alternates.
FORMAT:
Due to the number of matches for the day: no-ad scoring, 2 out of 3
sets with a 10 point tiebreaker in lieu of a 3rd set. Players may
come off the court for 3 minutes should they split sets.
USTA CONTACT INFORMATION:
Procedure for tournament registration: because of Privacy Laws,
your contact information from USTA membership does not show up in
the Tournament Director's software anymore. Only what you indicate
during the registration process shows up. We have no way of
contacting you if you leave those fields blank when signing up.
This means, for example, if your opponent withdraws at the last
minute due to injury, illness, or a family emergency you might make
a trip to the tournament and not need to if we had a way of
reaching you. You must indicate all phone numbers, home and cell (a
MUST), email addresses and more for each USTA tournament
registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament
you enter, even if you have played a tournament with Naperville
before.
QUESTIONS?:
Please call/email Naperville Tennis Club (630)355-5600 or
info@napervilletennis.com. Make sure you reference the name of the
tournament, player's name, and age group as we do have a lot of
tournament overlap.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, July 4, 2019 11:59:00 PM Central Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
