Notes
UPDATE AS OF 3/26 @ 10:30 AM: The draws have been posted for
the B10, B12, B14 and G10 divisions. For these divisions, the back
draw times on Wednesday are listed but some of these back draw
matches may not need to be played (due to the results of the front
draw matches which occur on Wednesday with players receiving a bye
in the opening round of the front draw); if this occurs, then the
back draw player will get a bye and advance to the next round in
the back draw (on Thursday). See the Tournament Director for
further explanation. If you have any questions, please contact
Steve Haas at 630-660-1943, and we look forward to seeing you at
the tournament!
This is a daytime tourney, given that some school districts are on
Spring Break.
Meredith Pollack will act as referee.
Most, if not all, of the draws for the 11+ divisions will start on
Wednesday the 27th and continue into Thursday the 28th, if
necessary. If the draws for the 11+ divisions are smaller, then the
10&U Green Dot divisions will also start on the 27th and
continue into the 28th; however, if the draws for the 11+ divisions
are larger, then the 10&U Green Dot divisions will start on
Thursday the 28th and continue into Friday the 29th, if
necessary.
Draws may be limited so that the events finish in 2 days.
Players are selected using the most current Midwest Standing List.
FMLC (players are guaranteed a minimum of 2 matches), backdraw may
not be played to completion.
Please read through this homepage before signing up for the
tournament as many questions are addressed here.
GET SIGNED UP/WHY WAIT?:
Please do not "wait" for other players to sign up. This is
something that circles back and then few people sign up until the
last minute. If you are free and want to play...sign up. Other
"waiting" people will see names and then sign up too and
Tah-Dah...we have a nice draw with healthy competition for
all!

the registration is still open. If registration has closed and the

call the club and speak directly with the Tournament Director.

the entry deadline.
SIGNING UP FOR TWO EVENTS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT
SYSTEM:
The USTA/Midwest Section Suspension Point System is in effect. You
are expected to play the entire event as scheduled. All players
will be given FIVE (5) suspension points for entering two or more
tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part,
unless each Tournament Director involved agrees with the multiple
entries in writing via email. The applies to all players who signed
up for the tournament including alternates.
FORMAT:
Regular scoring, 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point tiebreaker in lieu
of a 3rd set.
USTA CONTACT INFORMATION:
Procedure for tournament registration: because of Privacy Laws,
your contact information from USTA membership does not show up in
the Tournament Director's software anymore. Only what you indicate
during the registration process shows up. We have no way of
contacting you if you leave those fields blank when signing up.
This means, for example, if your opponent withdraws at the last
minute due to injury, illness, or a family emergency you might make
a trip to the tournament and not need to if we had a way of
reaching you. You must indicate all phone numbers, home and cell (a
MUST), email addresses and more for each USTA tournament
registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament
you enter, even if you have played a tournament with Naperville
before.
QUESTIONS?:
Please call/email Naperville Tennis Club (630)355-5600 or
info@napervilletennis.com. Make sure you reference the name of the
tournament, player's name, and age group as we do have a lot of
tournament overlap.
Messages
Tournament Fee includes T-Shirt and trophies for winners. Please wear non-marking tennis shoes and have just water to drink on the courts.
